I have had a little thought: I used to attempt to solo dungeons with my lvl 60 hunter, such as scholo and mardon with some success. So for lvl 70 players; 1. They could make the old lvl 50-60 5man dungeons such as Diremaul, Mardon, Scholo etc into single player dungeons, they will need some tweaking so that everything from a holy priest to a fury warrior can do them (but not walk through them) but I love the idea of single player dungeons. 2. Make the old lvl 60 20man dungeons into 5man dungeons such as Zul'gurub and AQ20. 3. Make the old 40man dungeons, MC,BWL,NAXX,AQ40 into 15man heroic dungeons. Ofc there would be new loot tables and tweaks to some bosses due to less players. But it seems blizz just need to put a handful of devs to work on this for a 2-3 months. |

I'd like to see something like this too. I've been wondering what Stockades would look like on Heroic. That's not encouraging if you're not a hardcore player and you know you'll pretty much never get into BWL or something like that. Still, our guild takes "site seeing" trips to the older raids that we were never able to get into before. You can pretty easily 10-man good chunks of MC and AQ20 with 70s. We took about 15 guys into AQ40 and had a good time. Sure, the loot is nothing for characters of that level, but it's still fun to see. |

I'd probably come back myself if they did some lower level dungeon revamps on the old raid dungeons for smaller groups, because I've always wanted to go but I just didn't want to deal with 25 to 40 people.. To bad as someone else said they've pretty much nynx the idea in favor of all the high level content. So I'll just keep my money for now *sigh* Please Refer to Doom Cat with all conspiracies & evil corporation complaints. He'll give you the simple explination of..WE"RE ALL DOOMED! |

Well since BC killed WoW for me I'd like to see something like this take place. I pretty much hate the end game in WoW and can't stand what people turn into when they start Raiding. I have more fun leveling up characters than I do mindlessly doing the same Instance for the 500 time trying to get a particular drop to further tweakout my 70. Which oh by the way will become worthless when they release the next expansion, and the next one, and the next one etc... |

Doing the same instance over and over is like insanity. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results/drops. Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL! |

Single instances are OK, but a bit boring imo. The Splitpaw Adventure pack in EQ2 introduced single player instances and even though they were OK, they're even more repetitive than raid based instances because with just you it's exactly the same every time. Still waiting for your Holy Grail MMORPG? Interesting... |

None of these dungeons are "obsolete" if you are well under the current level cap. Granted, if you are level 70 and such, then of course...then again, there are TONS of players that still fall well under the BC cap. As long as there are players and people are willing to do these runs/raids and not just PL to BC, then these dungeons still have a place. That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming! |

Which i have suggest in some post, to be rewarded by giving stats, so that you can put into your charc.
And the requirement is to reach lvl 70, so that whether you are raider or not all of us will be rewarded. Also suggest that they put serveral save points inside those big instances, like what Vanguard is doing to theirs ( its call portals for them). And i believe that if Blizz really implement this many old players will came back and many more will stay since they know that when the next x-pac is out they will able to see the current ones.... To increase activity to those areas all they need to do is change the loot from BOP to BOE and give all the NPCs a chance to drop "motes of ________."

Originally posted by arctarusWoW dungeons don't need save points as we already got them, kill a boss and his mobs and trash wont re-spawn until the reset. Karazan added an NPC who would teleport you to parts of the dungeon.. might see them more. Single player dungeons would be fun but they will need to be very difficult, maybe have 2 settings, normal & heroic, they cannot be a walk through, and maybe add some kind of random-ness (different bosses & mobs) to the dungeon so it has some re-play. |
