I'm hoping that A) it's going to actually start tonight, when the servers come back online and not Thursday (which would be asinine), and B) that this is going to last longer than nine days somehow. I suspect I will be wrong on both counts. |

I almost just did the 1 month, but I just subscribed for 3 months, since that's basically 1 month free. Hoping that Age of Conan will come to fileplanet before October 30th. |

I expect that its 9 days of 24/7 access so they can get some serious load testing done well ahead of open beta, then back to the normal restricted testing schedule. Once you are in the beta they only take you out for violating the NDA. But past that 9 days - expect the normal testing schedule of 2 days a week, plus the week-end from Friday night through to Sunday night. |

I dont think fileplanet deal now is bad. You get Tabula Rasa, Quake wars (which i love) and in few days Company of Heroes expansion beta will be there too. Shame that World in Conflict beta ended thou.. Played: Quite a few Mmos |

Originally posted by Rommeli I have had a fileplanet sub for quite a while and it is well worth the $50/year. Best deal for PC gaming out there. Special stuff like Tabula Rasa and Quake Wars just seals the deal. |

I have to pat myself on the back here. I was into Quake back in the late 1990's when quakeworld and gamespy were first being developed. I tossed gamespy $15 for a lifetime membership way back then, never thinking how big they would become. So now I still have full member access to all gamespy/fileplanet stuff for that one time charge 8)

Some seem a little confused about the fileplanet program. This isnt full beta access, it's simply an extended "preview weekend". Seems many didnt notice this part when signing up listed after the server schedule times. Server availability: August 9th - August 18th |

Far as the pre-order beta access umm... Players who purchase the pre-order for Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa not only get a three-day head start on the live service, they also receive exclusive character emotes, exclusive in-game pets to accompany their characters, access to the beta test. Granted, at this point it hasent been confirmed if the pre-orders that are now on shelves are only good for open-beta. Which is what most get you into. A number of sites are currently trying to confirm what strategic beta access even means. |
