SOE tookover Vanguard long after it had any chance at all. Honestly, people bitching about how the game will not be finished etc worthless in a post about getting to try it for free? Go take a happy pill or something.

well if i did not play eq2  i would give vg a try now it had matured

but the problem in launch was major lag and disconnects

so maybe when i get tired of eq2 i go back to vg

I actually started filling out the beta app a while back and thought about my SOE experiences (all are non SWG btw).  I closed the window before completing it.

I was like ya they are only going to be doing x, no game impacting stuff and then I thought wait I;ve heard this before.  I don;t care what the lvl is of their involvment is.   They have done a poor job (yes that is my opinion) on everything I have touched that has had their name on it somewhere - whatever their responsibility was.

Maybe I;ll change my mind after release and stuff, but I refuse to waste my time on em at this point.

Feel free to call me stupid or whatever....I really don;t care.

I d/l it in an hour and the damn .rar is corrupt! lol

I give up, I have downloaded the client twice and it was corrupt both times! Oh well! 

LOL I forgot that I signed up for CB access through Massive Magazine months ago and got an Email from them Friday. After about 2 hours of DL and 10 minutes of patching I got to play for about an hour before they shut down the servers!

The NDA's got my tongue but I can say (I hope) that it looks like it could be a good game at launch. They really seem to care about the quests and if they are enjoyable and worth while(if your playing you know what Im talking about); and making bug reporting easy is ALWAYS a plus when beta testing.

Of course I was very excited about DDO when I OB it; boy I was wrong about that one!

Are you using Firefox? My first DL was corrupt when I clicked on link in my Email invite; but when I used GetRight it did OK. Just a suggestion.

Is it me or are there a lot of people running around that have no idea what a NDA is?! Meaning, IF you got into beta, you shouldn't be TELLING ANYONE! Read the NDA.
