(at work also, although not desperate enough to steep so low!) I don't actually think there's any brower-based MMO (I think they're mainly going to be Java MMOs) out there apart from Runescape. At best you're going to have to settle for something text-based :(

Try Nexus Wars, Urban Dead, Trevian, Tribal Wars, Shartak, Kingdom of Loathing(not mmo), Cyber Nations, Lunar Wars. to name a few

They are telnet based, only text, so nobody notices you are playing. It only looks like you are doing something very dificult. Na, I am alone at 4 am, so dont have to worry about someone seeing me, infact I am allowed to do whatever within reason ;) Any browser based that are real time and not just text ?
