I have been looking at the website for Reqiuem, but I couldn't make sense of it since it was all in Korean.  If you don't know what Reqiuem is, its been in production since 2002 and Its suppose to be a Horror mmo.  However, the info you get on the game until now has been fuzzy.  On thier site they have some Systems but you don't know what it is.  Havok System, Nightmare System, Living NPCs.  The only thing that is known is that the graphics may seem dated because of how long its been in production.  It had a trailer with an english announcer, but the sound quality was bad.  Well with the rescent Gravity Festival 2007 they released the same trailer only with better quality.  It should be making its way to youtube in a couple weeks.

The trailer wasn't that exciting since it was made purely off gameplay.  As I think everyone would be aware, unless you know what your looking at its hard to get excited about it.  So here is the jist of the details based purely off the trailer.  It's Havok System is its use of the Havok Engine.  So when you kill someone thier body flops around.  It also has decapitation and makes use of WASD controls.  The Nightmare system when they first described it was like So What.  It is a Day/Night Cycle, when its night nightmares happen.  Like Bosses only spawn when its Night Time.  Then it has NPCs that move around and act on thier own AI, similiar to what they are doing to Ragnarok Online.

It may not seem exciting but the info is really vague at this point since they haven't released much, and as a title its been left to the wayside.  They seem to really be promoting several points to this game, Hardcore, Mature, Realistic, Horror.  So it would be interesting to see what the final outcome is.  The world is also based on the conflicts and espionage between 4 races.

Yea, i was looking at that game as well.. I tried to download but get an error before I can even get to the sign-up page, not sure if they are IP blocking.

 I already have a gravity account from playing ragnarok 2 so technically I could play this if they aren't ip blocking.

EDIT: NM the error was because I wasn't logged in, lol.. I am downloading it now, if they aren't IP blocking I'll post some screens.

Nope they aren't IP blocking.  I'm currently playing it now.  Sadly my system just doesn't do the game justice.  My FX5600 is the bare minimum as far as card requirements go for the game.  Here is a show of the rail plane (it's how you get around.  Think DAOC horses)
 At the time I was doing a barrel roll so don't laugh.

Certain words I know in korean, but for the most part.  Trial and Error lol

OMG you can fly a bi-plane, thats too cool.  No more crappy fantasy-esque crap.  I didn't know there was any flying done in this game and I was excited about it.  Adding that in is starting to get too much.

Well I started playing it this morning.

Graphics are decent but not too detailed s low end systems can play maxxed out. It's not too hard to play though everything is in Korean, if you have a bit of brains.. all the quests have pictures so thus far has been easy to complete quests.

The UI is really really good though, very tight and simple, animations are incredibly smooth.

Definately a bloody hack n slash type, every time you kill something it turns into a bloody pulp, including yourself if you die. Char creation is pretty simple, you can pick from being some muscle bound ogre type or human, with a few hair and face choices.

It's a fun slash game.

BTW Roin, what are those scrolls for? I bought em and used one but didn't seem to do anything.

Sexy, so I am guessing this is like RO where you pick your gender when creating an account.  The graphics are pretty dated considering how long its been in development, but how is the gameplay?  What is the combat and movement like?  I know they are planning to add 1 more race if not 2 more.

Na, you can pick any sex, I just took pics of the chicks as they are probably more appealing to the eye :P

The graphics are actually better than those screen shots show, almost like they are taking low quality screens, kinda weird.

The movement is WASD and is great, smooth, you can point and click with the right mouse if you choose. You can use about one potion per fight, and you die fast so they are good to have.

I only have 2 attack skills atm being L 7, and every time I hit something great globs of blood fly everywhere. Hopefully at L 10 Ill be able to figure out how to get my class or job or whatever they call it in this game

That would be a pretty nifty idea if it was done in reverse. Whenever you take a screenshot, it takes all the render data and in the background renders the image in full quality.

Im tired of waiting for 2moons for my M rated RPG fix, this game looks really promising..now how the hell can I play it if I dont have a KSSN...hmm.
