ArenaNet and NCsoft have announced that the release date for Eye of the North, the first true expansion to Guild Wars, will be August 31st.

that's much sooner than I expected. now let's see if it will actually spark my interest in the franchise again. i always had qualms with you growing attached to the people of Tyria and their fate, and all of a sudden you're dumping them in some unknown land and running off elsewhere... |

10 new heroes? so does that mean that even if you don't have nightfall you gain access to heroes through this expansion or do you have to have nightfall to get the heroes? Currently Playing: GW |

Awesome! Couldn't be better timed for me. I'll have time to get to 20 with my N/Me. And the game isn't released too close to WAR or AoC, lovely. |

After the disappointment of LOTRo and the fact that, unlike City Of Villains, WOW, D&Donline, etc all charge monthly fees, I keep coming back to GW - I have not been that impresed with the most recent addition FACTIONS (though I have not given it much time to be fair) - but the ever growing content is always good news...I cannot keep up! Makes me wonder if it is worth leaving GW for GW2. I can't see the point so will go do the research... |
