Now this is funny, the Aussies spent almost two years screaming for Oceanic servers so they could play with people in their own time zone and now, since those servers are so popular you think they will move back to servers that have the exact same problem as before noone in the same time zone? Someone at your place Blizzard has bats in the belfry. |

I prefer MMOs that only have one game world (or shard) because: 1) You don't get problems of wanting to transfer characters. 2) You can be a legend all over the world. |

This isn't surprising with the low low populated servers. Just think, that money they've got to spend to maintain the servers. So it's probably costing them thousands of dollars a years to maintain the servers. So it's probably a smart move to save money. Lol and of course it's free. imagine getting an email you have 1 month to fork over $20 or however much it is (i think it's more) or else your characters are being deleted. That would be a really crappy thing to do. But technically legal ( if you read your users agreement ). |

I hope it is costing them thousands a year to maintain servers. I can't stand Blizzard anymore after there customer service screwed me out of a character transfer they'd said they'd do for me if I came back and resubscribed for free, but then later tried charging me $25's or whatever the fee was citing that their employee misinformed and made a mistake. So I asked for a refund on my subscription and they refused the cheapskates and have never been back since. It's sad the company is that cheap that they wouldn't even give me a refund after they'd messed up or just give me the free character transfer like they told me they would in the first place it wouldn't have even cost them anything to do either, but oh well they permanently lost a customer out of it for WoW and other future games.

All character transfers should be free, IMHO.
