I read in april's or may's Game Informer that a WH40K is going to be a MMO. I looked on the net but couldn't find no dirt anybody know any links w/ info, cause if it's the case it might be the only MMO to get me away from WoW.

So far what ive seen regarding Warhammer 40k , is RTS , not going the MMO way of what ive seen. However Warhammer Online is another thing. List of SOE lies

Thanks for the heads up , guess ive not been following it so closely as i thought , but yea okay 2 years from now, i don't like predictions they never seem to hold ground :) List of SOE lies

But more really isn't known yet. We don't know if it'll be a MMORPG, or MMOFPS, or maybe an MMORTS, or a Turn Based MMO... Only thing we know: It'll be an MMO :D

Only thing we know: It'll be an MMO :D Id hazzard a guess that it will be a MMOFPS as i cant see how an RPG would work effectively with mainly ranged units. It'll be complicated to create a realistic W40k world however, as everyone's fighting everyone else on multiple Planets throughout the whole Space. Would be great if they could somehow create a MMO with Space Fights (like in Freelancer for example), but in which you can also Land on the Planets and Fight it out on the Ground :) 40k has A LOT of potential... and so far, I liked all games from THQ, so let's hope we'll be able to duke it out in Warhammer Fantasy with WAR, and with THQs Game in 40k :)
