You only live once... make it count!

Since I think most members of this forum agree Diablo I/II wasn't a true MMO, due to the lack of a graphical interaction between thousands of players, I'm using the name as a reference only.

I liked Diablo 2 for what it was, a fast-paced hack'n'slash adventure. I was curious if anyone in the community has played a MMO with these characteristics? I've seen Dungeon Runners (and beta'ed it briefly) and will try that again post-launch, but I'm sure there must be others out there. Any recommendations to try?

Thanks!

As an addition to my original post, has anyone ever tried Cronous? It seems to be a "Diablo-ish" MMO.

Ive been searching as well; the only thing ive found was mythos which I havent played yet and isnt open to beta atm, and granado espada which was sort of close to the action but just not enough enemy so it just doesnt compare...

Dungeon runners didnt really do it for me, to few enemy variations and skills and bosses and stuff; maybe long into the future it will be good though.  Cronous is garbage, the graphics suck and the action is pretty weak; the skills also blow and are mostly crappy passives.

Im still waiting for a good action game... tell me if you find anything.

Dungeon runners is a good clone if you do not take it too seriously and have a laugh.. Oops you said you played it.

Hellgate: London is one you should keep your eye on.

Who knows when Blizzard will come out with Diablo 3 ?  I bet it is next up after starcraft 2.

Meh, I fail to see how hellgate london can deliver.  I mean you run around shooting guns where aiming isnt necessary which defys the point, and you fight maybe 4 enemies at once due to the mass amounts of lag the servers will have.  Doesnt seem very d2ish to me.

Mythos is pretty good...

It's just like Diablo, but with a WoW kind of overlay.
Near zero character customization (it's still in alpha and this type of game generally doesn't have much), and get's pretty monotonous (which dungeon crawler doesn't?)

I played it, thought it was fun and pretty and had cool sounds and almoust compelling story and then one day, not long from the end I found myself lacking space on hard drive and deleted the game.

Hellgate: London is where the action's at.
It's made by former Diablo 2 Programmers, it's planned to be the "unofficial sequel"...sort of, in a new IP of course.

The Devs looked into what made Diablo 2 so great, improved those Points, smacked some neat DX10 Graphics on it, an voila, it'll be great ;)

I have TQ and it's expansion. Its a good game but it really doesn't get good until you beat it once and get to the higher difficulty. The first level of difficulty doesn't have many good items that drop. Your character is also not really mature until the higher levels. I loved the game though I am just not the kind of person to do the same thing over and over. There is a pretty good community to the game though. I would suggest TQ to anybody that enjoyed Diablo.
