Just got a warning email and my thread removed for my post regarding the NDA. I guess its against the rules to ASK about the game if its under a NDA. SO- If you do post on the forum asking for information or revaealing you will be censored. Just a heads up. This is unless the post I started- " Anyone want to spill the beans..." actually resulted in some information being revealed. I admit i was reaching a bit in hope someone was stupid enough to say something- but I really was trying to make the point that the game must be lots-o-fun if no one is quitting/ranting on any forums. I mean if we were all playing LOTR or Vanguard under a NDA i'm sure you would have some quitters ranting on the forums: "dont play this game it sucks". (those games suck I can't believe Gamespot gave LOTR a 9.0!). Anyway...I CANT WAIT FOR NEXT ROUND! Oh and btw- If your system specs have changed /brag I just recenlty purchased a second gig of RAM and 8600GTS /bragoff IF you have a Ncsoft account you can use the customer support email system and they will update it for you. Just provide the user name and email address you registered with. Actually CuppaJo was my contact belive it or not. They must be workin him like a dog! Props CJ! |

A simple truth-"What people want and what is good for an mmo is not always the same thing"-mrw0lf |

Well, you committed a minor infraction, and got a warning... you risk getting a one day vacation by bringing it up again and complaining about it....
I understand why they deleted your thread...if you don't like their policies... well..... "Just because you aren't paying doesn't mean it's not PTW." - Amaranthar |

Hey I understand that they honor any NDA's in the mmo community, I commend them for that. I just don't think my post was that bad. There are plenty of other threads still up that pry at the same question.

Its not against any rules to ask for information on the game. Anything that has been mentioned in an interview / article / posted on a fan-site by CuppaJo can be discussed. On the other hand - asking people to post information that is not publically available - I can see that being a minor problem. Someone actually posting non-public information is actually violating the NDA and is a big problem.
Thats the impression I got from your post - but I can also see how it could easily have been taken the other way.
Ooooh are you in trouble - CuppaJo is a lady so your suggestion that they work HER like a DOG might raise some hackles :) |

Ughh, same thing happened to me when I asked a question about LotRO. I got a 3 day ban. Ohh well, I guess they need to enforce the rules somehow.

whats funny is do you really think a games competitor hasn't figured out ways to know the status of thier competion. mmorpg is just doing thier part as a commercial site sponsered by the devs.

Originally posted by fungistratus This site would be liable if information in violation of a games NDA is published anywhere on its site. You post was most likely removed to prevent this from happening. This site has a good relationship with game Developers, allowing registered users to use the site to break NDAs would prolly ruin that goodwill. |

Goodwill with game developers=Steady stream of ad money.
I think game forums are becoming a waste of time.either their to commercially influenced,or thier run by some nut.Theres better things to do,even play old games than waste time with this crap. |

Ram is nothing to brag about. I mean, you have any idea how cheap ram is now. For a 1gb stick of ddr2-667 it only costs $33.99. I've have 2gbs of ram for like 2years. Nothing special, neither is 4gbs of ram since you don't need that much. Besides, most AMD and Intel CPU's have flakey memory controllers. So unless you get 2x2gb, 4x1gb will not be as good as you think. Might get system errors etc. Plus, windows can only recognize 3gbs anyways.
My suggestion, get a really good kit of 2x1gb. Or 2x2gb for bragging rights. 4x1gb is a joke. 8600gt is a horrible video card. Not even worth mentioning. It's so bad, you can't brag about it. Since people will just laught at you and then smack you for being a tard. Anywho, the x19xx series is better, but the 8600gt has DX10 support. That's its only highlight. Playing: WoW, Played: Aion, AoC, Eve, EQ, EQ2, LOTRO, Runescape, Guild Wars, DAoC, Planetside, SWG, WAR, Darkfall Wanting to try: DCU Online Waiting For: Star Wars The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2. |

I thought Vista could support more than 4gb and that XP only supported 2. |
