Gaute Godager, Game director of Age of Conan, kicks off the first of their "Letter From" series with a look at the savage and sexy spirit of the game. Age of Conan is so savage in fact that he spends too much time talking about the brutality, and was forced to leave the sexy for next time.

They aint lyin'......Gaute has said "sensuous and brutal world" so many times during the development cycle of this game, he is probably sick of hearing himself say it. None-the-less, I'm there opening day!
 Post-script edit: Looks like we will be getting our Roleplay/Player Vs. Player server after all!  THANK YOU!

I honestly didn't care that he did this, but I was a little shocked when he admitted buying gold online. That was a great article, and I'm definitely checking this game out. |

I was watching a video of AOC and they were designing a NPC model that was nude so. Theres the sexy in AOC.

Quite refreshing to see this note from a dev leader. At first, I was thinking, "oh dear another grand "Vision" and hype generator from the boss." However, it felt honest and it felt like they were not going to overreach. Good stuff to read, just hope it lives up to what is written...

"We tore, screamed and fought with the fiercely sediment standards of the MMO industry - something I so lovingly had worked on establishing with Anarchy Online at the end of the previous millennium (Hehe, lucky with that one, huh? ;p). For me personally I think it started by getting a slight fatigue with doing the same in every MMO. Harvesting quests, hitting 1,2,3,4 as I watched my hotbar icons during fights, falling asleep as I was grinding my in-game dinner. Don't get me wrong, I love the genre!"
