We need all the help we can get MMO players! You do not have to play this game if this project is succesful. The only involvement that you have is I will be contacting those who signed about the outcome of the project, if we were sucessful or not. I am the administrator of Carpe Kin and I will state that this is NOT a scam. Too many people are iffy about signing because they think they will get spammed. We write all e-mail's on the form in a way so that you will NOT get spammed. The only way to find this forum is by using a search engine and typing in Carpe Diem. Not too many people type in Carpe Diem from day to day. This forum is only advertised on MMO sites, gaming sites, and sites we are related too by friends.

This project is "Official" though it may not be the most professional way to do this, my time is scarce. I use the Carpe Kin forums because it is more personal and that is where the last of the Carpe Diem community is. No where else will you find that many members that used to play Carpe Diem.

If i could i would delete your petition i played this game and its horrible.  not even gonig to go into detail but the reason its gone is because it sucked no other reason and ther not going to bring it back to please 5-10 people lol.  start to pay a monthly and play Vanguard or something.

First off Salenger :) If I could I would title your post "Stupid". Get your facts straight. This game is huge in Korea and Japan. People dress up as toons at conventions all the time. The game didn't die because it "sucked". It died because they made it p2p when it is f2p in Korea and Japan.The game was marketed poor and rushed from CB->Live. If your idea of a game is just based on visuals (Vanguard) than I feel bad for you, your missing out on a lot of game elements.

Tranquility yes because I don't back down on my word. Not everyone has seen this topic so I will continue to bump this and if you don't like it post elsewhere. I said I would keep everyone up to date for each days progress and I have been doing such ever since it has been created. The game is not dead :) It is well alive in Korea and Japan! Get your facts straight...They banned foriegn ips now :) & a little inside information they were thinking previously of bringing this game back.

To both of your replies you fail to see why I am here. I am a fellow gamer asking for help from other gamers. I think to support the online gaming industry you should at least be able to take 2 minutes of your time and sign the god damn thing. I am wrong for that? Also, it shouldn't be ripped from us out of nowhere like this game was. Karma is a bitch eh? Apparently it hasn't happened to either of you yet because you don't have any sympathy towards our community and you continuously bash this game before knowing all of the facts.

sorry for sounding so harsh, but the fact you are struggling to get just 1000 signatures and need to bump your thread over and over again should say enough.

It is interesting that you are playing 9Dragons. Did you know the same company Persistent Worlds that was publishing Carpe Diem, had 9Dragons as well. Before Acclaim did. The version they had was much better than the Acclaim one. Half players were playing CD others were playing 9D. People curently playing 9D have stated on the Petition topic there that PW's verison was much better.

If it was f2p it would not die out I am sure of that Game. There were plenty of players that played until the game went live. Sadly they are in other games and it is hard to get in contact with people you have no clue where they currently are.

You know I used to play WoW it bored me. I tested out Granado Espada it was boring so I left it in the dust. Nothing to this date has satisfied what I am looking for since Carpe Diem. Plenty of people will tell you that.

Look at some of the crappy f2p games out now, and tell me this is false hope? They are still alive. Might have been abandoned but people still play the game.

company's bank in Scotland couldnt accept credit cards (they were supposed to but the program was bugged)

THATS the ONLY reason WHY the game DIED.

some ppl like the game and some dont, he probly didint couse the game wasnt made for PKers but for players who PLAY the game so your main objective in game is to lvl up, arm yourself and follow the neverending story (with that you will always be able to lvl since game has apsolutly no lvl gap) and while you follow the story you get invaded from hundreds of mobs (you can see an example in "worlds end" video)

Honestly, if you would get 1000 signatures, and 800 of them would be of people who dont even play the game and just took 2 minutes to vote for your game, you would be playing with 200 other players ... Wow, that game will run for years!

And besides, its a freaking game, you dont have to go all crusader on it. I've had some of my games close, that doesnt mean i will just start supporting games that i think are bad. And yes i am entitled to my opinion in case you want to go all "you dont know nothing" on me.

That is your assumption though you are wrong in my eyes. A lot of people played CD before it went live. I am positive with people playing 9Dragons for free, there would also be others willing to play this game for free. There are a bunch of crappy f2p games out which do not compare to Carpe Diem. Were trying to bring this game back f2p because so many people wanted it f2p with an item mall, which was the initial plan. You don't like the petition thats fine.

Do not ruin my thread and our cause here. If this topic gets closed if they see fit, so be it. I have not done anything wrong, even if you think our actions are pathetic and worthless we think just the opposite. We love our community and it will not die. Even if this project is a flop we still wont die because we have plans. We plan to keep searching for a game everyone will like and find some interest in. Until than this is our outlet.

We are trying our best and that is all we can do. It isn't just a game and you should know that by now. It is a community of gamers, all people of different origin coming together with similar interests and something to relate to. That is amazing in itself that even after all the diversity, people can still come together and communicate universally.

Sorry if I came off a little bit harsh. At first others and myself were taking comments as something to be offended about. But now I see the cause of it being others ignorance, and we shouldn't be all hopped up on that now should we?

its sad that we NEED your support

its sad that good games fall couse of company's misstakes

but the saddest thing is that so little supported a revival of an MMORPG.

this game is better than 90% games listed on this site and your saying it sucks.

this game has better gaming options than 98%

and company whanned to make this game P2P for our sakes, all we needed to do was to pay i think 5$ for 1 month, 12$ for 3 months and not sure how much for 1 year. and no it didint require client cost, just monthly fee on the lowest price

F2P is good if Item Mall is balanced and in most game it isnt, so who has more money is the best and not the player who is the best without buying items in Item Mall. but the fun is to beat the item mall guy isnt it ;)

I wasn't overly fond of the game, but I admire your attempts to keep it going, regardless.

Me and my gf both played closed beta of it and both enjoyed it so we signed the petition and hope it goes back up.
