All of your review makes sense but then it doesn't. How can you enjoy a game with 40 fps in the wild, 10 fps in the city? I'd probably enjoy this game too if my PC ran it well. After plopping down $2200 on a PC I built myself (Meaning I actually got what I paid for, not a $1,000 PC and $1,200 in labor like some people endure) Vanguard still runs crappily. I can run Everquest 2 at fully max settings without a hitch. Don't get me started on how well it runs WoW (I don't play anymore, but I raided once with it and I had 60 constant in a raid. Yeah.) It's good you enjoy the game. But you are a minority. The minority that takes crap and says, "Please sir, can I have another?"

So stop enjoying MMO's and feed the branch with 10-15$ amonth. Nah, that donn't make sense does it. Unless you meant that you ran EQII in max settings and WoW in lowest settings and raided. Some computers ran those two games very smoothly while not being able to do that with Vanguard. The game is poorly optimized.

With the emphasis on raided in WoW with 60 fps. That sounds like a real good machine to me. But granted he could have a better machine then me and get less performance contra settings. I'm so broke. Just because you think it is crap doesn't mean that your experience has been the only correct one. To even think that people who like Vanguard play it even though it sucks is folly. Some people are simply able to play it with much less lag/problems than others. It's really an amazing game. I'll be back in September when I can afford a video card and I'm really looking forward to it.

I didn't read all 11 pages of responses, but I did read the entire post from the OP. I'm actually interested in playing VG again, I played it in beta for a while, and stopped because of school. I didn't want to play it anymore because of what i've read here. Thanks to you though, me and a friend will start playing once we're done our exams here. Both the hater and the lover follow blind emotions instead of cold analysis. In that term you havent really changed for better. Maybe you start to cool down. I never gave any credit to haters or lovers whatsoever for.

Amazingly enough I had a horrible experience with this game as well it had nothing to do with performance - although I have no desire to play a game I cant run at 60fps+ not a relevant issue. In September YOU will not want to play this game either - I guarantee [ southern accent ] FUNCOM - putting the FUN in disFUNctional !
