I have been searching for a good MMORPG ever since i quit Runescape like 3 months ago around new years day since the SwifSwitch riots made me realize Jagex is raned by retards...Not to mention I gave my account to my friend but he cant recover the pass since someone hacked it and changed it before the recoveries could go into effect, he hacked it about 2 weeks ago. My account was a Lvl 92 with 99 wc (Used a macro lol) and 1392 total lvl...before u call me a noob think, been playing for like 2 years..although i admit to having shared my account lol..with my friend that i gave it to.(Darth Lord77 is his username, can't prove he is mine since my friend has long since changed the pass then it got hacked and he can't recover it) I have been looking for a good MMORPG that suits my computer and is cool and all. I have looked through countless of games but there is just too many...heres a list of things that i would like it to achieve or better for me to check it out, although i will check out any new ones i havent heard about. 1)-My computer is pentium 4 with 256 Ram...1.8GH(um thats the abbreviation of giga hertz right?) and 80GB. Edit: Okay due to recent changes I have convinced my dad to buy me almost 800 RAM for my computer and a good memory expansion. So will be accepting more graphically demanding games. 2)-It needs to be fun preferably with a PVP setting or a game where you can create houses, buildings, cities,ect...or just a good shooter. 3)-Must not be owned by JaGex or associated with them in any way...or be retards like them with poor customer support. 4)-Must be F2P or at least part of the game like runescape or at least a free trial with a decent amount of time to check out. I haven't found a good game yet so until I do I won't pay for a game. 5)-Must not have people following around calling you noob all the time like especially low levels calling higher lvls noobs and saying they have 100+ account or that their bro does. Like Runescape to name a game. I guess you could say im looking for a friendly community but i kind of like the bad boy image a bit better 6)-Must not have game mechanicks where all you do is click and click for everything like runescape, thats why i started using macros to begin with. 7)-Good class system unlike runescape where all there is to chose is either mage, warrior, archer or all three. 8)-IT MUST NOT BE TEXT BASED!!!, o and please dont say Tibia or ogre island, i tried those and they SUCK!!!! Um just to not give you a hard time im going to finish the list about here...lol soz if i give you a hard time, o and if you want to leave a list its fine as long as they fit these requirements. Sorry for me being such a *** hole but im really desperate because i have ben looking for a good game for over 3 months and have visited countless of web sites in search of one. Thanks for all the help Um would also like to add that english isn't my first language so any misspellings please dont get mad over or try to correct me because im not going to be listining. Also there will be a poll if you want to vote to help me decide which game to start on, will be adding more games as more good suggestions come in...first someone suggest a game so i can add the poll lol. Alright I think i have enough questions toput in the poll, well be adding mroe to it as more good mmorpgs are suggested. Um u can kind of ignore the poll...I posted it before I knew that you cant edit or delete it and stuff. I guess im guna add to the next post after I get 10 good mmorpgs to put on there, only have 3 in mind at the moment. Sorry for all the trouble I caused if any.

well gonna check back tomorow because its almost 1 o clock in the morning and im not a nerd that all he does is use the forums all day...unlike the countless nerds in runescape watching over their clan thread all day. no offense to anybody here i was talking about runescape more specific lol

well here is a list of games i played for more than 6 months some of them 2 years more.. il ltry to put by order (not of good of play)
oldest Ultima Online (payed =/ **) Ragnarok Online (payed =/ **) Lineage (payed =/ **) Silkroad (free) Lineage 2 (payed =/ *) City of Villains (payed =/ ) RF Online (payed =/ *) the ones with * are the ones i used the trial version... didnt stay happy and went to a private server to continue testing liked it but hated the comunity so started playing the oficial server. the ones with ** i didnt realy like the oficial server neither

Um i have an idea lol...soz im more of a outdoor person but i started using the computer more recently...but thats not the point. O and cjbulka thanks for the list, might try silkroad but i heard they have poor customer support and their some korean grindhouse game...which could possibly be worst than jagex.

You want a bit different, free, but can give the paysites a good run, try Voyage Century, has a bit for every play style. IMHO

yea thats what a friend of mine says but i tried downloading it twice already and keeps saying the file is corrupt, tried all i could :( brb later, doing some school work.

256mb ram is goona be ya problem no MMO (other than web based or a few 2d tyoes), not even WoW (512mb min) will run without constant loading from the hardrive which will slow the game down and cus all kinds of pauses and hic-ups, also given ya specs I can bet you only have basic onboard VGA, no 3D acceleration etc.

yea i got 3d accelaration on my hardrive, i got a couple of games that arent mmorpgs though but are 3d such as rollercoaster tycoon 3 although my new video card broke i have to use the one that came with the processor, just to have 512mb ram with my other video card coombined which doubled it... o and no thanks i dont play runescape anymore..is it a joke i said no games associated with JaGeX lol..
O and drbaltazar lemme check on those to see if thier any good and if they fit what im looking for, i heard scions of fate was good but it looks like it wont play with my computer but it might be worth a try. Looks like space bowboys might work (barely) but im guna have serious lagg problems judging by the graphics and stuff...I might try it if i get a new laptop for my birthday in may but im most likely getting a xbox360 so i dont know :\...wanna try space cowboys online..looks awesome lol

ya space cowboy pvp looks nice i saw some vid in youtube,i hope they update .will be a while before we see a free sci-fi i bet .

Try wurm online it's a pretty cool 3d game with a very low download of like 25mb and it has nice features house building, mining, smithing, and such bad things are the graphics aren't the best but if you played runescape then you can handle this. It's still kinda glitchy and there are not many animations only basic like moving around and stuff it also streams everything to the user so it may be laggy if you don't have a good internet connection. I'd say look into it lots of features are going to be released pretty soon including animations give it a try I give it an 7.5 out of 10 ten being the highest.

yea wish i had a nice computer so i can try space cowboys :\...until then lemme check on wurms online real quick, my internet connection is adequate its cable and 256k connection.

wurms online looks good except it doesnt say anywhere on the site the system requirements so i know if my computer can support it and it only says euros listed for options to pay for the membership...i dont live in europe :\

o i jsut found it but it wont play because of the fact that it needs 512mb of ram :\...it would if it was 256 ram or less...meant wurms online not maple story lol...i heard about maple story but i dunno I heard tehy dont listen to the players the mods n all and are possibly worse than JaGex...but I guess i dont know till i give it a try.
Alrite I can guess maple story can pass, lemme add to poll.
