I love games with a lot of varieties of armor.
So getting straight to the point... Does LOTRO have many sets of armor or do you see a lot of copies. PS. If you could post pictures with some armor you think is pretty cool please do. Archon @ Warhammer Alliance |

it is pretty diverse in armor. There is a good chance you will see one or 2 people with a peice you have , but a lot of it is mix and match. Once the crafters start churning out more elite armors then it will become even better. Once above 20 , you will have a wide selection to choose from.

The ability to dye your armor is really going to be what sets you apart from others. At the end game, there is 'The Best' armor that you can wear so you will end up looking like everyone else of your class. Unless you are going just for looks, most classes look the same as you are levelling up. Whether it be from store bought armor, or from quests which you get along the way.
They do have Elven Dwarven and the regular armor looks. Each set even has different looks for the differing levels. They don't have sets spanning 1-50, except for drops from mobs. It's very unlikely you will ever make a matching set of armor from mob drops though. |
