With the large British fanbase for Warhammer, I think it would be stupid of Mythic not to have them.

What on earth are you talking about, I played ont he english euro servers for years. There were always english euro servers. The fact that there were french and german servers too does not mean the english servers were flipping invisible. It is IMPOSSIBLE ot have missed them, unless you did it on purpose to have somehtng to complain about. IMPOSSIBLE to miss them
Edit: Sorry.. Reading through your others posts, with your questions and little problems then yes.. You might have missed them. Noone else.. but you actually might manage to miss the english servers. My mistake "This is not a game to be tossed aside lightly. |

actualy its very funny that you think i didnt know becouse i actualy got TOA ranger there level 48. anyways... i played daoc since beta. and only after 8 months or so they managed to get the EU servers open... and each time i had a patch with the us servers it took it 4 months to get to the EU servers....
yes. with regard to this i dont trust mythic. they fucked it up with daoc i dont want them to fuck it up with this. i loved daoc they know theyr way around a MMO thats for sure! awsome pvp and pve each time :) . |

Mythic shouldn't even make french or german servers. It will be like it is with daoc, english servers will hold on for few years but then those german servers are biggest again and english people will go to US servers.... I could have sworn that I saw a Dev say that WAR would have euro servers, and will be updated at the same time as the US servers... but it could have been just someone on these forums. :S

Q. Will Europe and the US receive patches at the same time?
A. Not only will the game be released in the US and Europe simultaneously but patches and expansions will also reach both groups of players at the same time. You can find it at http://www.war-europe.com/ |

GOA will be handling European distribution and operations, just like they did with DAOK. www.war-europe.com had this bit: Q. What languages are being targeted for initial release? I'm guessing that means there will be servers for each of those. |

Originally posted by SkylesIt would certainly behoove them to get support for Mandarin/Cantonese and Korean as soon as possible. Sadly, those markets mean a lot more than ours, potentially. WoW, for example, has more players in China alone than in North America. In fact, I think China makes up roughly half of its subscribers, total. That means if they could only have one market, assuming they make the same amount off of Chinese subscriptions, they would choose China. My point is that to be massively successful, expanding into Asian markets is a must. Online gaming is more developed and socially accepted there, and the population is massive. |

The question isnt who is going to let me; its who is going to stop me. |

Originally posted by WerppaThat doesn't make much sense. People didn't quit the english servers because there were german and french servers that had more people. They quit because they had to wait for patches expansions and new server types forever. I think DAoC was not made with possible localization in mind. It took them forever to apply new translated patches. And they chose that the european english servers had to wait too. THAT was the stupid move IMO. Why would anyone want to play on a outdated version when he could play the newest version in the same language?Higher ping? Different Prime Time? Not much of a reason. It sucked having everyone know any imbalance half a year before it happened, so people could be ready and exploit it from the first day. The delay pretty much killed the euro classic servers. First we didn't know if we'd get one at all, many relocated to the US servers then. After that we'd have to wait for weeks and then before they even opened them up, everyone knew of the "TOA NERF" patch. I'm not putting up with that kind of stuff again. They're either all running on the same version or I'll be playing on the Mythic Servers. Maybe I'll play there anyways - just in case. ![]() "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." ~J. Krishnamurti |

I'll just begin playing in the U.S servers right away just in case GOA manages to screw everything up again
