Dying is just a run away from your next LVL |
My WoW subscription runs out in May I have had lots of good and bad info about Vanguard so I'm not sold on it. Can some of you answer a few question
1. Is there and Auction House? 2. Are there trades, like Engineering and such? 3. Are the Graphic as nice as Vanguard or equal? 4. Will there be any housing or People owned towns? 5. Can you take over a town and hold it? 6. Are there lots of clothing. i guess my point is does everyone look the same? 7. How big is the map maybe compared to WOW? 8. What is the money system, gold, silver, cooper all of the above? 8. Anything you have seen that no other game has? 9. I'm sure i can look it up but what is the monthly fee going to be? thanks for your reply's in advance.

"4. Will there be any housing or People owned towns?" "At this time, individual player housing is not in the plan for launch. We absolutely see this as an important part of the evolving world after launch and have plans on how to execute this type of system." Lot's of answers here: http://lotro.turbine.com/index.php?page_id=20&pagebuilder%5Bmodule%5D=faq&pagebuilder%5Bdisplay_item%5D=5 |

The answer to question 4 is not "No", the answer is "Yes". There will be player housing, just not at release. Knowing it is on the way is good enough for me.
and for Q6: They have stated a large part of their efforts post-release will be focused on art development, adding more unique armor abd weaponry. |

To he OP, if you spent even 2 minutes on LOTRO's forums, you could have had all your questions answered and more. You probably spent more time writing your post than It would have taken to look it up yourself :p. Besides....I think you would like to see more aboutthe game right? Check it out....there are screenshots, detailed answers and discussions of what will and wont be in the game. Way more information than anyone will give you here. |

The missing question: "Is it fun?" Yes. Somehow they got the formula right. I beta'd and played the release of another very recent new game, and it (for me) never was fun. LotRO was a huge breath of fresh air after that experience. I've come to the conclusion that you really can't tell much about a game from the feature list; the fun factor is just too elusive to live in the feature list. |

If you have played World of warcraft for a year like me, then you have played Lord of rings online its a 90% gameplay rip off of warcraft gameplay. When i played Lotr beta i thought i was playing warcraft. Turbine took all the gameplay features of warcraft and slapped on lotr skin. So if you thought lotr offers something new or better then warcraft? your wrong. Once you load up the game you know exactly what to do, because it feels like playing warcraft all over again. Even shortcut keys are the same function as WOW.
