Hello everyone. I would like to ask for a help. I need a MMORPG as one I have been playing is boring. it is Russian game "wizards world"m, but ut's very laggy and as uou grow and you are not too lucky for duels, you are lost. My requirements for a game: 1) should work fine on my old PC with pre-historic videocard and 256 RAM. An absolute must. 2) takin not too much space. 2 Gigs is too much. 3) user firneldy, intuitive world 4) shoulds allow trading - but there should be NPC merchants/shops that would accept anything I bring. Price does not matter. 5) game should be free of charge. There may be paid items, but basic play should be free. 6) genre - something like Lineage, Runescape: a lonely hero with a big sword and huge choices. I have tried some Russian games, buty they were unaceatable for me. One game ran like a quest: ask person A, then person B, finally go to talk with person C...and eventually with statues and shield. Oncve you ask anything, you gain 60 pts and gain your first experience. Later, u depend on battles only. Another game ran in browser (a huge bonus), bu had a graphic worse than Civilization or WOlfenstein 3D. Controls were very complicated. The game offered free stuff (just go and pick) and polayer can chop trees, kill rats (!) and so on,. The problem is, you can't sell it at shop - go to the trade chat where experienced veterans offer good stuff at good prtices. The third game was somewhat acceptable, since it had a lot of xhoice,s staring with thiefm, ewnding with gunmaster - but all of thenm were somehow weak. Gunman at the highest level loses -60 to experience and so on. Unfair!! I know I would not go with Lineage / Runescape - they involve player too much. So, what could you suggest? http://www.mmoblogg.wordpress.com |

The only difference between a Troll and a Fanboi is which side of the fence they stand on. |

Did you try Dungeon Runners? It's basicly everything you said, and if you choose to get the upgrade it's damn cheap.

Originally posted by CaesarsGhost Dungeon Runners isn't released yet. From it's website: "At this time, Dungeon Runners accounts are a limited commodity. We’re not quite ready yet to throw dungeon doors wide open to the entire world, but we are taking select heroes, and letting them run rampant through the depths. The only way to gain access to Dungeon Runners at this time is to be referred by a current player, and to have a PlayNC master account (but the last part is easy and free!)." |

Well. I don't think I am asking too much. A game where you are a hero with a big sword - don't think it is too much. Basically free game, payment - an option: almost all games offer that. If uou want - buy for virtual money big heavy sword; if you have 100$ - buy big and light sword. It's only natural. User-friendly enviroment: well, a game, like a software, shouild be user friendly. The only thing I may be asking for too much is my PC as it is pre-historic. Mut for now, I have no $ for good upgrade (1 Gb RAM, newest videocard). So, I have to stick -unfortunately -w ith the current hardware. Sadly, but thaty is reality. http://www.mmoblogg.wordpress.com |

You ARE asking for much, and your "pre-historic" PC will limit your options. Sorry.

Maplestory and Ghost Soul Online? Sorry no big swords because both of them are 2D, you can't really find a good game that can run properly on a system like yours unfortunately

Lithuanian: "I have no $ for good upgrade (1 Gb RAM, newest videocard)." Friendly advice: You say you can't afford to upgrade now. When you do, remember: 1 GB RAM isn't much. Your upgraded PC will be "pre-historic" again rather quickly. Wait till you can afford more, no less than 2 GB. And of course, RAM + GFX card isn't everything, a good CPU is critical too |
