I have a question for you. as a BETA tester would you do a better job at testing a Game if you were getting Payed to do the job? I do not want to see a whole bunch nonsense. a simple yes or now will do. |

I don't know... When you're getting payed to do something there is a different dynamic in how you interact with the company. Also, I don't think you can pay enough people to get the number of people you'd want to get impressions/opinions for a statistically significant body of potential players.

From our experience do the non payed tester actually a better job. When you have a QA that sits there day in day out testing your game, they come to overlook a lot of things. Its good for balancing stuff though. As they have the time (8 hours a day) to analize balancing very closely, but for bugs are players always better we found.
