UPDATE**** Problem has now gone away on the Vanguard forums but still occurs on others...sigh. .......................................................................................................................................... Strange things are happening when I visit game forums within mmorpg, using firefox. Within the last 3 days whenever i click on game forum links within the site it jumps me to a random section of that games headings. e.g. goto Vanguard page, click on forums tab, (works fine upto this point), now click on general discussion and firefox jumps me to either hype page for that game, overview, links etc....not the general discusssion section of the forums. Its very strange and is completly random, the webpage address of the location I end up in is the correct one!...i.e. forum within its address even though what im looking at on screen is maybe the links page, or the overview page. Began a few days ago. P.S. using IE7 it works perfectly just using firefox i have problems and only within the last few days but its not getting any better. |

I'm not having the same problem as Vortigon, but I'm having a couple of others. I primarily use Netscape (now a goosed up version of Firefox/Mozilla). I know, I know....I'm probably the last Netscape user on the planet! 1.) On the main page, the whole page garbles every time the news headline banner scrolls. And the banners auto scroll feature is no longer stoppable (by clicking on an arrow). 2.) Not able to logon. I get a site error message (I'm using IE tonight). ----------------------------------------------- If you guys get PO'd at us weird browser users, please remember that it's Microsoft who is deliberately violating international shtml standards in their web authoring software (in a brazen illegal attempt to shut out competitors I presume). |
