rofl i'd say
Gnome Mage reason is because mage always has and now with TBC is even more imba<if you know how to play that is :P> and the reason for gnome is because of "Escape Artist" which removes movement imparing / snare effects which can really help and gives an edge over frost mages since there main move is frost nova for the extra 50% crit but if u Escape Artist out as soon as ur novad they lose that ;) anw and trade skills would be Engineering for the bombs with 3 second disorient because u can pull off a fireball or a scorch easily :) and also Alchemy for the imba pots you can use but its not advised because its kind of pussy like to run around relying on health potions and such anw this is just my opininon after playing WoW for 1.5 years mainly on my mage |

Nowadays the most overpowered class is: Race: Undead / Gnome - Got best racial bonuses for this class. Class: Warlock Professions: Mining / Engineering - Will help you a lot in PvP combat. *Edit: Warlocks atm is just I.W.I.N button PvP class, but that's only my imo. |

Well as much as i know all the classes are balances so basicly if you got owned by another char it's your fault.
The only thing that is realy important are talents which you upgrade and profesions. |

There is absolutely no ''best class''. It depends who is playing it.

Id have to vote undead warlock. Warlocks beacause of the High dps, no single class that can foil you in pvp. (hunters and rogues are tougher, depending on which pet you have out) As undead, cannabalism works well to regenerate what you life tapped for mana, and will of the forsaken is great against other locks/priests. For professions: Tailoring/enchanting: Tailoring for the cheap greens to DE and some decent high level cltoh recipes now for warlocks, Enchanting is very difficult to level but an excellent money maker at the higher levels. But, as it has been said above, its all about the skill of the person in control and their style of play, but undead warlocks seem to have a little edge. |

My personal combo consists of 2-3 characters: Undead/Mage Tailoring/Mining and Blood Elf/Pally Blacksmith/miner or Blood Elf/Hunter Engineer/miner(or JC instead of eng.) GO HORDE! WoW addict. |

I'm surprised that there isn't more love for druids here. My main is an orc hunter (beastmaster spec), but I've never had more fun than with my Tauren druid, although I'd imagine its the same for night elves. The availability of movement enhancing abilities in cat form makes questing quicker and less boring until you get a mount, and the ability to heal combined with decent melee abilities when shapeshifted means a lot of the elite quests can be soloed. PvP is great too, especially if you are a casual player since no matter what composition of classes you end up with in a pickup group, as a druid you are versatile enough that you can fill in wherever it does the most good: healing, sneaking, taking, or spamming moonfire all over the place, you may not be the best at any one thing but you can pretty much do it all.
