Wow, Oct 30 sure is a long time away. Hopefully this means the open beta might last longer. Now I just need to figure out how to get into the "Age of Conan" open beta!

I don't mind a little polishing, but if this delay is due to Funcom wanting to port the game to XBox 360 and release both versions at the same time, I and many others will be sorely disappointed. The majority of players following AoC don't even want XBox 360 users on the same servers.

The sad truth is that most evil is done by people who never make up their minds to be good or evil. |

Originally posted by briskojrIt's really quite easy....................do a little empirical research over at the official Age of Conan forums using the search function. No mystery or majesty about it. It does, however, require a little more work than posting witty one-liners. |

Originally posted by Sinuous That's assuming most followers of AoC actually post on the forums.. If you ever lurked around the SWG forums, you've no doubt heard of "the silent majority". Plus, when you do that search, a good deal of the threads you pull up are from the same people over and over who feel passionate enough about the subject to run it into the ground. So, i'm still looking for a place to sign up, have been for a long time. Also, witty one-liners are the back-bone to any good thread, don't knock em'. |

Is it really so hard to believe that PC users wouldn't want to share servers with XBox 360 users? Remember, this game is one of the first Mature-rated mmorpgs with a large fan-base. Consoles are cheaper, and, like it or not, their user-base is generally considered to be more juvenile.

I've been a PC gamer for well over a decade. I also own and love my Xbox 360 and love the online service. That being said, I still must say that I would prefer to play on a PC only server. The amount of immaturity encountered on the 360 vs. the PC is disturbing.
Also, While I believe they will use this time to tweak and enhance thegame, I do believe that this falls in line with MS wanted to have Vista/360 shared games to release simultaneously. Anyhow, I look forward to this game! |

Originally posted by Jbell1 i dont really understand this, i dont think the developer and company would really care whose immature in the game or not, hell im sure WoW has many immature people, old or a young buck, smart people usually jsut ignore those immature people and do something productive and enjoy the game, if you honestly let immature people get the best of you whats the point of playing games at all? theres always gotta be an ass in every game... |
