We have a topic about this already up in the general discussion, so feel free to add to that there: http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/112303
In any case, like I mentioned in that topic, this is awesome news. |

Yah, I've heard lots of people talking about this game quite a bit some time ago. What makes it not another grinder from the East though?

Yeah, K2network
From the BBB: "We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices." I was looking forward to Granado Espada, but not now. K2 is one of the shittiest companies around. |

Originally posted by tigris67You controll 3 characters at a time, instead of 1. You can create a load of strategy with those characters, chose stances, roles, you can give each of them seperate commands, Granado Espada plays sort of like a mix between an MMORPG and an RTS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gLA08xJUvs |

I'm impressed by their website and how smoothly they get you hooked into the story line, very appealing, the music too. It's New America exploration period setting is novel as well, companies are moving past the traditional high fantasy orcs, trolls, dwarves and elves. Whoever those guys are they are very imaginative, looks like they are poised to upset some old school mmorpg apple carts. The ability to have a family of characters and control three at a time rather then have to multibox is neat and the ability to trade your characters, how cool is that. I hope it's a persistent world instead of mostly being instanced. This game is now on my list of games to watch.

k2 is one of the shittiest companies, just look at warrock.
FIrst it was free to play for ever, free to download, now its buy the box. No fixes, no changes for over 8months of beta, yet they are ready for release. Granado Espada is a great game, i currently play the jap version, but i feel k2 will run it into the ground. "Free trial and premium editions. Download and play the trial version of the game for free or buy the premium, boxed copy for additional content and game play experiences." You won't be getting away from the freeloading tweens here anyway. |

Originally posted by grunty Considering the Korean and Japanese Versions also recently became free to play with an item mall, that wasn't the part many of us were worried about. We are now worried about the fact that a crappy company is hosting probably the best MMO to come out of korea from a western gamer's perspective. Like I mentioned in the other topic, it's a damn shame that they gave away the publishing rights to such a bad company, who won't advertise it well, and who will most likely end up making this game underperform well below it's potential. Oh well, as long as the service is halfway decent, I'll find myself playing this game to the death. |

Hmm, k2 network.... I mean.... same company, with well known policy toward customers, policy created by Cris&josh (CEO's), is hosting a new game. Thats it. What will be different now ? Allow me to be a bit sarcastic, is there gonna be customer suport this time, and no more characters/items selling for real $$. If i said something wrong, fell free to correct me. |
