Hey, I was thinking. (for a change) and I have been looking for a good MMO that is in open beta. (I couldn't see any other good released mmo's I havent tried) I came across "Cabal online" and as soon as I heard of the name I was like....wtf is cabal? lol, well, I had a look around on youtube, and watched trailer.

I could not understand why the hell I didn't know about this game before! The skills look better than all MMO's I have seen, and I just wanted to know If this game is not one of those korean style grinders. (even thought they can be quite fun ;)

So is this game any good, like....the gameplay?

Any suggestions would be appriciated! (sorry about crap spelling lol)

Thanks.

Personally i got to lvl 33 as a force blader and it was the most grinding MMORPG i have ever played. Combo system is quite fun for the first hour but like most games it wears thin a tiresome.

Dont listen to that guy, he sounds like a super casual player.

Interms of korean grindfest, cabal is easy mode. It took me 3 days to get to level 50 with my blader in beta, the grind is what should be expected for that kind of game. It is really easy to play, easy to get into and a very entertaining game all around.

Only reason i stopped was because Estsoft did an ipban to all players not Euro. It was dissapointing because the game was fun. I plan on playing it again when it is released via Game n Game.

Ive played in Beta a Mage, was a lot of Nuke and InstantKill Fun.

But it looks too cheap, and its like a free2play game so i didn´t want to pay2play.

i must have played a different game Cabal then the game you all talking about, good game?? where, awesome graphics?? where?? impressive?? not one bit, its a copy of a copy of a copy wich is made into a copy :) sorry if this games was free maybe some people might enjoy such a game but at its current state it doesn't move me one bit, afcourse this is all a personal taste and opinion by me, each their own taste, screenshots and movies can be misleading, and past year 2006 was a very misleading year for new mmorpg's hopefully this year, Vsoh, LotrOnline, DaoC and some more this year 2007 looks alott more promising then those korean copy/pasted games

Cabal is pretty fun at first, but eventually gets dull. On my computer it lagged a bit, and didn't have as good graphics[probably my graphics card]. As posted before, it seems to fall into the games that would be better in a F2P rather than a P2P later. Don't let this change your opinion, it's still okay and it was closed Beta. Maybe things will change and be better.

Cabal is def a pretty good game. It doesn't offer as much content as some big games out there.. but its easy to get into, easy to lvl, and def has some fun, fast paste kind of arcade/action gameplay. If you don't mind a game that lacks content compared to games like WOW, EQ, DAOC and other big titles check this game out. I think you will have fun for a while.

cabal, a lot of fun in this game ,TOP 1 game in china and taiwan,

it has been top 1 in taiwan for many months, and still now ,in china ,they just had their open beta and jumped to top 1 in the list in the first month.

just remember ,games not all about graphics, since there are so many people like it in asia, i say it worth to give a try.

I've been wanting to check out this game for awhile.  The problem is, not available in NA.  I think one of the major problems with this game in the States would be it's lore.  I personally like it's Asian style, with the type of fighting it appears to have.  If this game could catch the eye of Console Action junkies, it would work well here.  Most MMOG's, as you already know, in the States are based around the Middle Earth type fantasy.  So this is kind of an unchartered type MMOG for this part of the world.

I think this MMOG would appeal to the DAoC crowd as well, because it looks fairly fast paced with a lot of combos.  I've considered running threw a proxy and checking this out, but I don't know if I could actually Pay to Play after the 7 days were up.  I would prob get addicted and be pissed I couldn't keep playing.  This is the main reason I haven't attempted going the proxy route.

Because Vsoh and LotrOnline clearly aren't copy/pasted games...

Ok... for those who did not get a chance to try it... There are tons of English speaking people playing Cabal right now on the Japan Server... The menus and NPC's are all in English... the only things that will still be in Japanese are the names of Jpn players.

Japan Cabal is F2P
There is a guild with ~80 English players called Lost Soulz for players who have no guild of their own.

Well i can't say much about the US version, but i did Beta the european version and the camera was terrible. The game wasn't all that bad, there are tons of quests to keep you occupied for a long long time. All and All it wasn't too bad of a game, nothing you should P2P for though. From what i saw it would be a F2P game only
