Hey.

-Wondering if there's an easier way to manipulate the camera? I am used to the way GW, WoW, SWG, ect controls the camera as in I hold down either mouse button and can pan around. Is this functionality available in AO? Using the numberpad is not going to work for me. So far I've figured out that I can hold CTRL and the right mouse to get a "free look" but it's a real pain.

-Is there any way to adjust mouse movement speed? My mouse cursor moves very slowly while playing AO and I run out of table space fast. Also is it possible to bind mouse buttons 3, 4, and 5 to keys? The middle mouse button (wheel click) moves my character forward, which is useless.

-The game is way too dark on my monitor. How do I adjust brightness/gamma settings while in game?

Thanks for any info you guys can provide.

I have basically the same question except for brightness. I would like the right mouse button to work on the vertical axis as well as the horisontal one and still steer my toon, and to adjust the sensitivity. The game is growing on me but I find it very difficult to really enjoy it with the fixed vertical camera. An alternative might be that if you can get the left mouse button to steer as well, I would be happy.

I have yet to find a way to release vertical panning with the Rmouse button.  I would really like to know, if someone finds a way.  As for gamma, I just use a third party tool to increase the overall brightness of the game.

Mouse movement speed is controlled through my Logitech software.  You might get the same result through the windows mouse control panel.  If not, then consider running AO in a window - you'll get the benefit of the default Windows pointer speed.
