I heard somewhere theres no healers, is this true? This would be great if it is IMO :D |

There will be no dedicated healing classes, there will be classes that can heal but their idea is to make it so these classes can still stand their own in a fight

they will have probably some condition that the class that can heal (not a healer class) must fulfill before it can heal, probably having to do some damage before being able to heal, and then more damage till they can heal again , or receive damage or even using some kind of close combat ability before being able to heal, of course i m speculating but it kind of makes sense.

What bob said is true, but from what I have heard from a few who attended GenCon a couple months ago non-healing classes (such as the black orc and engineer) have morale abilities which act as a self-heal. I am not sure if this is the case with every class, but I thought it was a nice idea since it makes the player choose between using their morale for offensive or defensive purposes.

I always picked Shadow priest in WOW, people hate me from be a healer class but not a healer spec.... I just wanted to have a PVP build tbh lol, this is good for me cause i just wanna be kool in PVP.

this sounds like a really interesting system, it sounds more complicated than the healing system in most other mmo's. At least we wont be up against a naxx/aq geared fury warrior being healed by 2 shammies and a priest.

Another thing is that healer classes in most MMOs really don't play the same game as other classes. Healing in games like WOW involves staring at a bunch of health bars, not neccesarily even seeing the graphics of the enemy, and you mainly 'fight' by going 'watch bar lower, hit this spell' not by really doing moves and countermoves on an opponent. |

Yeah if you want to play the traditional healer class (I heal, and I heal, and I heal!) Mythic says it right in a video you need to look elsewhere. I dont have the link but it shouldnt be too hard to find the vid I found the link to it here on this forum

well, i wish i could play a good healer class on any other game. but i cant. there is no proper healer class, at least that i know of. i mean, i want to advance by healing and helping others, not by questing or killing mobs. since i read somewhere that on WAR you could advance through pvp, i thought, hey, maybe a healer class can advance by healing too. that is why i am disappointed, because WAR was my last hope for a good healer class. |
