Laugh it up, fuzzball!
Tried to download the beta installer from fileplanet, but it says I need to be a resident of the US (which I actually am, but I am not in the US atm, lol).

Will/is there a EU version?

Goto www.eurogamer.net as of monday the 8th they will be handing out european beta keys on a first come first served basis
