I know the answer to the topic will be very easy but for God sake couldnt they make it more obvious. I've been trying to kill stuff in this game for two days now but each time i attack an animal my punches just dont seem to take effect, its just like i'm punching air.
Can someone please help a stupid n00b?? |

Are you getting a graphic word display of "Miss" or "Hit" when you attack the animals? Also when you attack something you dont have to repeatedly click unless you have an attack you want to select. Basically just click and let it go until target is defeated. Hopefully I answered the questions or maybe you can reply back with response to this with more info of whats happening. |

If you learned it from the trainer, you first need to train on the dummies. Simply click on one in the attack stance, and complete the timing test. After that, equip the correct weapon (if needed). Then bring up your skills (S), and move the new attack skill to your quickbar. Once you enter combat, or before, you need to select your quickbar stance (the skill you want). Otherwise, you'll just come out swinging. Hope this is what you need.

First of all i dont have any weapons because i have no money, second i always get a hit but it doesnt reduce or cause any damage to the enemy in any way. I've tried going to the dummies to train but it keeps telling me to select a skill which i dont even have any except the meditation skill.

Going around mindlessly killing stuff is not the right way to play this game. Is you still fail at questing perhaps you shouldn't play this game. It's actually real easy to play and very fun. Your making it to hard... try and pay attention to "obvious" stuff on the MAP. |

You see, that's just the thing, the quests need me to fight and fighting is almost impossible to do but i'll go try again to see whats going on cos i've walked to the ends of the earth in that game just to find a way to get my punches in but to no avail. If one of you guys could tell me how you played yours from the beginning maybe i could find my problem.

For me, it was the foxes. You attack them, they run, and the worst part is your damage sucks. You end up chasing them for a bit, but that's how you make money at first. Also, follow the quest line. It keeps you on the right track. |

i feel with you mate, i found two quest givers, and finished those quests, and am at 90% level 1. they tell me to join the (beggar in this case) clan, but i have no clue how and I can't find any other questgivers. i have no money to train either.
i guess i am a victim of modern washed down mmos with tutorials and stuff - i.e. too stupid or lazy to test more. dunno, i don't mind exploring after say level 5, but until then i don't mind some intro guiding you a bit more around. call me care-bare :( |
