I would have more fun flushing 50 $1 dollar bills down the toilet, one by one.....it would be less of a grind.

Let's put AL in a nutshell if possible:

Beta Testing: CM tries to translate the code from Korean to English....very poorly to say the least.  It's like CM bought it, and the Koreans said "have fun decoding it" while they were filling out their deposit slips.

Release: the game is still not fully translated because the have a set deadline to release it, I felt sorry for the guys trying to translate Korean before the deadline.

Not even a month into live status, and what was supposed to be a game with 5 servers, barely has enough people on 2. 

With a declining population, they have the nerve to start handing out suspensions to people PK'ing the poor innocent carebears who just wanna create a party, farm, collect items, and chat....in a PvP advertised game, mind you.

Grinding:  at lvl 35, eyes bleeding from the grinding, watching my XP bar go .20% per kill on mobs 2 lvls above me...I realized, man this game sucks. I work and go to school so why do I want to WORK at playing a game? 

 But I saw a lvl 50 character.  1. he has no life and lives in his mom's basement or 2. He paid for a leveling service on ebay for round the clock leveling (which supposedly, CM is handing out suspensions for).

CM has already made their money on this game.  Try calling a customer service rep and see if you get the feeling that they care, because I can tell you that you won't. Idiots that get suckered into paying $15 a month is just icing on the cake for them.

In game GM help feature is a crapshoot trying to get a GM with half a brain. Some of them are real helpful and some of them act as if they don't know a thing about the game. Which leads me to believe that they are paid drones sitting at a comp with a "commonly asked questions" manual sitting in front of them.

This game HAD potential, but CM screwed it up imo. If you are still thinking of buying this game, let me make it very simple for you.

DON'T ....every time someone logs into this game, it make's baby Jesus cry.

Gameloading, if you can appreciate that type of grind....hey man, it's all you. Have fun with the grindfest.

Archlord is not a extremely bad game. it has alot of potential if only they would do something about the bugs.

Although - FOR ANYONE THINKIN ABOUT PLAYING - a big part of Archlord is grinding which is why i stopped playin it. i know grindin is apart of every mmo but they are ways to spice up the grind rather then point - click - kill.

A good thing about Archlord is quiet a few quests require groups and teamwork to finish and theres always ppl around to help out.

you cant customize your character which is crap, and (i dunno if they nerfed to mages and archers) but they desperatly need to. very overpowered.

To me though, Archlord was a waste of money and there are ALOT of other games out there that are exactly like archlord, better infact, and are either Free or for less a month.

this game is complete and utter crap. Save your 50 bucks or flush it in the toilet, you will get the same effect as playing this game. Grinding in an MMO is fine, its needed its expected. Grinding in this MMO till you want to rip your eyes out is not fun, not a great quests system, the drop rate does not support your need for pots/upgrades. There is a very rare chance of getting a stone you need to upgrade your stuff, stats missing when you log out, a "guild" game with no guild options, rubberbanding like mad, not being able to "camp" exits cause it causes the grinders to cry to GMs. i could go on and on and on, Oh lets not forget the game isnt even finished yet. All the high lvl stuff isnt added and wont be till next year.

SAVE YOUR MONEY.. this game is a big old piece of crap.

ummm, Shadowbane takes less than 3 days to get to max lvl.  Maybe you haven't played it in a while.  Get your facts straight.  For you to say that it IS a grindfest is laughable. But you probably quit the game after getting ganked and said to yourself "But why?" just like in the South Park WoW episode.

You never played Lineage 2, did you? getting a good weapon at higher levels take MONTHS, and you can lose it in a second.
