Not really asking for attention as much as it seems. Just sharing. Anyone else just get to the point where you stopped logging in for about 2 weeks and cancelled your account out of boredom? I had one 60 and I was like..eh no thx.

Yeah got to one lvl 60 and got sick of raiding with a bunch of punk kids. It can be an addicting game, but if you think logically about it there is nothing to the game other than sweet ass graphics. You made the right choice by quiting, welcome back to the real world of MMORPGs.

If I judged the game only by the graphics before I started playing, I'd have never played it. ;) They aren't bad, just nothing I'd write home about. Animations are generally well done, and the world is well done from an artistic standpoint, but it's not something I look at and have to pick my jaw up off the floor.

I also reached a dark point where i ressubed. I played the WoW than for about week and maybe half. Cancelled it. Erased it from HD and thought about throwing the discs into the trash... It is just not interesting anymore. And also the way everyone solos , it is like playing single player game almost. I would have fun for a week or two and then never look at it for couple of months... I almost resub couple of days ago, but I said to myself "No! There is lot's of good games coming out this month!" :) Every time I read your post, I die a little inside...

I burned out raiding when BWL came out (yes that long ago), spent many months doing WSG at level 29, rerolled leveled to 60, went to MC a few times, then rerolled leveled to 60 and went to MC a few times. I seem to always cancel after doing a few low end raids. I just renewed because an old guild wanted to reform for BC. I'm sure I'll be canceling again after I raid a few times at 70. WoW just gets boring unless you love raiding. I've played WoW longer than any other MMORPG, I've played.

I grinded my way to lvl 12 and then canceled my subscription. Tbh, it was just too boring and I was having to force myself to log in to get my money's worth. Not a huge deal, as it was only $20.

I guess the main thing keeping me playing is my guild. We have a really good core group in the 40s right now and none of us are really "power gamers" so no one is getting left behind. We mostly get together a few times a week and do instances or quests. 50+ members in the guild and lots of helpful and friendly folks, we get on Ventrilo too. I think it adds a LOT to the game. The game really is what you make of it. Grinding is a pain in any game, I have only ground about 3 levels with this character and perhaps thats why Im enjoying the game so much more than the first time I played it.
