Destiny 2 Overview
Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter action MMO with a single evolving world that you and your friends can join anytime, anywhere, absolutely free to start. Explore the mysteries of the solar system, unlock powerful elemental abilities and collect unique gear to customize your Guardian's look and playstyle. Enjoy cinematic storytelling, challenging co-op missions, and a variety of PvP modes alone or with friends.
Destiny 2 has had seven expansions since its original launch in 2017. In order they are Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, The Witch Queen, and the most recent expansion Lightfall.
The most recent expansion, Lightfall, was released on February 28, 2023. It added new story missions, a new city on Neptune: Neomura, new exotics, a new subclass: Strand, new class-specific armor sets, a new Raid, new activities, and two new dungeons.
