The Conan Exiles Facebook page has been updated with a detailed post about the region-lock feature that the game has had implemented since the launch of Early Access. Over the course of a week or so, the team has been monitoring "MaxPingAllowed" on official servers. Adjustments have been made to the filter to better utilize region lock. In addition, a number of servers have had the ping filter removed to make them region-free.
As a result of the data monitoring, several changes have been implemented on official servers:
- ping thresholds have been identified for each region;
- ping higher than 140 will prevent players from connecting to a server
- eleven servers have had ping lock removed and have been converted to non-blitz
These changes affect official servers only.
