Club Penguin players will have an opportunity to donate to charity when the fifth annual "Coins for Change" campaign launches on December 15th. Last year's campaign saw over three million players participate in special activities that ended up netting a significant charitable donation made on their behalf by Disney.
This year, players earn coins by playing mini-games in Club Penguin. They can then choose to donate some of their winnings to the special lighthouse set up by Disney. When the lighthouse is filled, Disney will donate $2M USD to various worldwide charities.
