A new State of the Game address has been published on the official Champions Online website. The letter discusses the "kitchen sink" patch, which is a massive patch including over two months of fixes, ranging from sweeping power balance changes, to items and crafting, as well as much more!

The future was also discussed in this latest State of the Game letter, and for fans of Champions Online you can look forward to the game's first "mega-adventure pack" which has been dubbed "Vibora Bay." Vibora Bay will offer new content for players level 37-40, while not much else is mentioned. A website with information, screenshots and a trailer, likely similar to the type of site we saw for Blood Moon late last year, is forthcoming.

Other notable additions coming to Champions Online include a "flashback" system (think Ouroboros in City of Heroes), the introduction of a difficulty slider, new costume sets in the C-Store, and the return of the Blood Moon event, which is set to run "the day before, of, and after every real-world full moon."
