soloing and small group pugging in an mmo and not grouping and still get epic loot because its ok and be uber alone together without harming a single bunny or kitty or raider

i just do

i was a beta tester for this game

i have not played since beta

im glad i was still able to log into my beta account

the game has improved a lot since then

i didnt play the game when it launched

the only reason i am playing now is because it is f2p

for a f2p game it is really good

i dont feel like i have to spend money to be viable either

that actually surprised me

most f2p games and especially the aaa titles

they make free play bad so you have to spend cash

but not in this game

im happy with the archetypes

i dont feel like im missing anything by not having a freeform character

but im also a very casual player of this game

maybe a hardcore player of this game would feel bad about archetypes

i will still spend money though

once more cool archetypes are released i will buy more character slots and costumes

hopefully i wont become a costume addict but you never know

anyway i think if you think you would play CO FFA casually

and are not overly concerned with min/maxing

you should give this f2p game a try

i cant wait for guild wars 2

i want to play it more than anything else ive ever heard of

i want a necromancer

i wonder if necromancers can summon a tanking pet

if not i still want one

i want to try all the classes really

i didnt want a charr at first but maybe i just dont want a male charr

if i am to be a charr i must be female since they can be made to look nice

but i must have at least one character from each race

i also must have at least one character from each class

i love how everybody gets their own loot from kills

no more loot drama

no more coming from long difficult instanced battles empty handed

i love that rangers get a meaningful pet system

some pets are for land only

some pets are water only

some pets are for land and water

very nice

i want a pet jellyfish more than any other pet

my favorite necromancer spell

aside from summoning minions

is their locust swarming spells

ranger is my second favorite class so far

necromancer is the first

i have to wait until they reveal all of the classes

then i will be able to say for sure which is my true favorite

my favorite race is sylvari

i like how planty they are

most of my characters will be sylvari and human and norn

one of the things i plan to do as a sylvari human and norn

is go to the asura and charr main cities

so i can buy some cool looking techno and steampunk gear

seamless cooperation

thats the other thing i love about guild wars 2

having to be formally grouped by explicitly activating group functions is a seam

gameplay proper stops

just so you can do what should be as simple as wacking that mole

guild wars 2 allows you to bypass that seam in open world pve combat

if someone is attacking a mob

you can just attack that same mob

all who attack that mob will be fully rewarded without penalty

that excites me a lot

i like to wander around and help people while exploring

guild wars 2 looks like it will reward me for that

the dynamic events replacing traditional quests fits my playstyle

just see the stuff going on and respond to it

no more having to find the questgiver first

finding the questgiver first was a seam

a seam guild wars 2 has mostly done away with

i love looking how i want to look

i dont know much about character body options

but i know there will be a dye system for armor

i love being able to coordinate the colors of my armor to my liking

im so glad guild wars 2 allows this

ive played games that had armor that i would have loved

would have loved if only it was the right color

i love the option to use transmutation stones

i want to keep my favorite armor pieces relevant

by giving the stats of stronger items to the better looking items

i am a vain player

i hate outleveling beautiful low level gear

speaking of gear

im also happy that gear from dungeons wont be uber powerful

gear from dungeons will be "statistically equal to" gear from dynamic events

at least that what kill ten rats and pc gamer said

hopefully this means i can gear up from minigames alone

i would love that

of course id still do dungeons

the dungeons will probably have the best looking gear

i will probably be a mini games junkie

i dont know what all the mini games will be

i only know about the shooting range

but i will probably go from town to town doing them all

so i can collect all of the rewards

hopefully those rewards will consist of interesting gear

i also will have a character for every crafting profession

i know tailoring is in

the clothes in guild wars  2 look good

so i will probably choose tailor first

equal power for all playstyles at last

im so glad that soloers will have equal loot to groupers

someone who only solos may be less aesthetically  fashionable

but at least they wont have statistically inferior gear

playing with others will be seamless and intuitive

because of that i suspect the game will have few if any true soloers anyway

all of the above amouns to why i love guild wars 2
