There's been a lot of talk lately on the Lineage 2 SEA forums on how to retain the current Lineage 2 players and how to inject new blood into the game.
The proposals were the following:
- More experience at least in the weekends
- More monster drops
- More adena drops
- More marketing campaign
- Make it Free-to-Play
- Unite both the Aria and Blackbird servers
All of these are very good suggestions and I will agree with most of them. However, there was one comment that stuck in my mind...
Fix WASD movement.
Delete click to move movement.
Make the elf race stand up straight when running.
Ditch the grind.

L2 is all about the grind :p

They can retain WASD and Point and click but only if they truly fix them, like in GW. You can use both at the same time.

Wed May 21 2008 11:11PM ReportThe grind is the #1 reason why there are private servers. If youre going to make it a grinder, get rid of the subscription. Those two items do not belong in the same game. Either make leveling easier and keep the sub, or remove it and keep the grind.
I never understood what people have against click to move. It's like, easier.

Oh yeah, reducing the exp/cash grind so I could actually think of getting to the cool castle combat at the end might also help

I quite l2 official and move to a private server the game is great except the way NC soft it maning it makes it horrible.
Thu May 22 2008 12:35PM Reportthe click to move in L2 is quite polished and makes a lot of sense considering the mass pvps that game has, also had troubles adapting, but once you get used it's quite decent there.
