Blade & Soul may be a long time coming to North America, but that doesn't stop fansites like Blade & Soul Dojo to scour every tidbit of information from Korean betas. This recent video showcases the fantastic environment design and above all, the wonderful original soundtrack.

The serene yet majestic tracks have strong Asian overtones that reflects the game's roots in Korean fantasy. Conjuring flashbacks of Aion's OST. Team Bloodlust have shown incredible attention to the artistic details, down to the flight of the cranes in-game.

APB Re-Reloaded

Last time I discussed All Points Bulletin (in July), I was enjoying its resurrection but concerned about several of the drastic changes resulting from the Realtime Worlds to Gamersfirst transition.

1. Drastically smaller development team, (slower updates, slower fixes)

2. Free to play, cash shop model

It is now 2 months since then.. and regrettably, my fears have come true. It has been more than a month since any significant content updates, the previously hinted new districts and game-modes are nowhere to be seen, and the official blog is now rarely, if ever, updated. I cannot help but feel that the studio has shifted into "market and maintain" mode and away from development, but I do hope that I am wrong in this.

As for the cash shop model, a new advertisement pop-up has been added that interrupts your gameplay, daily cash-shop deals are constantly promotedy, and un-subscribed players have drastically lower mission rewards - low enough that you will not be able to sustain a decent armory of weapons and vehicles unless you pay for a premium account, or buy permanent weapons. In other words, you will be struggling to maintain weapon leases and ammo purchases if you choose to remain an unsubscribed account.

What is your take on APB's state of the game?  Is Reloaded Productions preparing itself for a significant content patch? Or is the slowed development just a permanent effect of the much smaller development team?
