I've been lurking around in different forums and sites. All with the same interest that I have, either animes, mangas, j-pop/j-rock, FOODS, toys and games; as long as I can see these requirements I'll surely be lurking on those sites.

But all have a common problem that we all know it sucks. Yes, you know what I'm talking about..

DISCRIMINATION

There are different kinds of discrimination, either position, talent, race, the list never ends. It's either they are amused to disgrace others or they think they are superior has no difference. It is still a sin to think lowly of others! As we may speak, discrimination is also done in games, especially now that MMO games been invented; we can discuss things to others easily and spread the news in a speed of light.

Let us apply these reasons and wonders why people who always experiences discrimination would prefer just living in a gaming world. I have gathered some survey and interviews that are pretty interesting to read and debate with. Time to organize them one by one!

“I am fat with an ordinary face and people teases me “pig” everyday in my daily life, so don’t tell me I don’t have life just because I only communicate through online games. Not only I can have friends, I can create my ideal character that I want.”

Answer of a 14 y/o child who gets bully by her classmates because of her appearance. We can’t blame her parents who raised her and left her in the kitchen since childhood. Since we all know most parents intend to have chubby children because they think they are healthy. But because of her surroundings, she was raise to have no self esteem at all. Labeling a person is a hobby of children who wants to make fun of someone, but we don’t realize we just hurt the feelings of that person. Whether you like it or not it is your responsible why that person has low self esteem. Not all children have guts but don’t be the reason why another pessimistic person was born and created on this world.

As for the child who answered this, yes you can create an ideal character you want to be. But you must wake up to the fact that it’s only a 3D character on the screen. Sooner and later you have to step outside your house and face other people to live on your own. For crying out loud, people matures too you know.

I am not allowed to go in some places because I’m different than them. My surrounding is disgusted in our family because we are just immigrants. Throwing garbage at me is what my neighbors at my age do. But I am happy because of online gaming I can still contact and play with my friends at my country.”

A 16 y/o boy answered this because of his problem to his new environment. Race discrimination is a never ending problem that is still being practiced by other countries (I won’t name those countries) up until now. Even though we live in a new era, some still closes their doors to those who they think are different from them. The bad side of this is if you are one of these people then don’t ever leave your country or you may experience discrimination yourself.

Regarding the comment of the boy, the good side is he can still contact his friends in his own country and play with them (Thanks to MMO). This is a good feed back to MMOs, really.

“I was eating in a restaurant when I saw that the TV is showing D********* anime series. I was happy because some of those panels are done by me. I told my friends with great smile that I draw those panels. They just laughed at me saying only Japanese people can draw them.”

A 28 y/o man got disappointed after hearing this to his co races. How come they don’t believe their own race? People with different believes tend to not understand each other even if you both live in the same country. Also, not believing the skills of your own country leads to a negative effect like the man example above. After a few days he was interviewed by the media because he IS one of the people who are behind the anime DB. We all believed that Japanese people only draw and makes the animes, but really have it ever crossed to your minds that hiring others is also possible? Applying it in games, MMO companies also hires other people living in different countries to obtain ideas that can’t be made unless having an opinion to others. It’s good to hear both sides right?

Regarding the man who got disappointed he is still working there as an animator. But he really felt sad knowing that he won’t be acknowledged by his co races up until now due to discrimination.

Discriminating people is really bad. If they think they are wrong, they will find ways to show in public your wrong side just to prove they have better thinking than others.

If I say Filipinos made the animation O******* most debate that I can encounter is co-Filipinos will not mind what they just read or they will look for something negative like; “Now I know why it sucks..”

If I say China is managing the game ********* would you still believe it??

Too bad this method still exists up until now.

DONT DO TO OTHERS WHAT OTHERS CAN DO TO YOU..

P.S.
-All notes are real and not invented. Whether you like it or not, these are based on research, studies and surveys by real people living in this earth so don’t be a bias and just support them d*mmit.
