I honestly haven't been this excited since the first time i stepped into Star Wars Galaxies. I was born in 1977, and when i first discovered Star Wars, i fell in love with it instantly. The drama, the genre, the story. Everything was awe inspiring. 31 years later, I still watch the movies religiously, and though not a big enough (or maybe i just dont have the cohones) to dress up and go to conventions, Star Wars has been a huge influence, and love, of my life. My wife thinks I am a nut, but yeah, maybe.
Since the rise and fall of Star Wars Galaxies, I endured it's many shape and forms, until last year when I just couldn't do it any more. Since then, I have bounced to and from every major mmorpg out there, none really had the magic that the Star Wars Universe held for me. Warhammer is holding my interest, and I am having alot of fun, but it is like a crack addict missing his addiction.
Now I feel like a kid at Christmas, waiting with abaited breathe to see what wonderous gift I get when i come rushing down the stairs. Will it be the gift I was hoping for all year? Or will it be a pair of knit socks?
Tomorrow, the wait is over.....hopefully it's a gift I can cherish for many years to come......

Tue Oct 21 2008 12:12AM ReportYeah...I have to say I'm pretty Jazzed myself. I do know that the SWG dev team has no idea what will happen after today they have been totally kept in the dark.
When my friend (who is currrently part of the team) asked he was told that updates were planned and they had just released the TCG game, and he sould be concerd about SOE not Bioware. (yeah they are jerks at SOE to the help) But he knows somthings up because all pf managment are sending out CV's.
I have money on Smed doing a letter to the community before the weeks out though.
