Cool happenings over at Warrior Epic, the hack 'n' slash free-2-play online action-RPG where it's actually beneficial to die.

Warrior Epic isn't you traditional MMORPG.
You play the part of a Hall Lord, the overseer of all the warriors you recruit. Your mission is to build your hall army and upgrade your hall's prestige.

(a view from inside my barracks.)
You upgrade your Hall with prestige, a bluish/purple currency that you collect each time you finish a quest.
Leveling up your Hall unlocks new areas to quest in and new gear drops to grab for your warriors.
You start in Aberas, you can see what gear drops there are when you hover over an available quest:

Then once you hit hall level 5 you Unlock the Welkin Warrens:

Each map has different gear to pick up for all your warriors! Leveling up your hall means more gear drops for you which make a huge difference in PvP. This will be readily apparent when PvP is launched.
You can also level up the gear you collect and equip on your warriors. I'll leave that one to my next blog post.
OK you registered, downloaded, tutorialed, lobbied.
Now what?
Level up your warriors for the coming PvP expansion. That's what.

Here's how in short:
1. Do The Guantlet until about level 3-4
2. Group with people (try to get 5) especially in Sea Dog's Treasure
3. Join a guild
Extra fun:
WarCryer's Epic Leveling Up Tutorial. Really good! Worth Watching.

That's pretty much the basics.
So.......
Seems forever ago that PvP had been mentioned before the September newsletter. Things are actually moving along. We had to revise some skills that were a little OP. For example, the Assassin's sniper shot used to hit for 80% of the targeted MOB's HP two times!

Other classes were just too under powered by the time they reached level 50 (our current cap) that they were pretty underwhelming adversaries in PvP. Some may have noticed the changes coming in gradually. And the skill triggering being wonky was all a part of the skills revamp.
We're making progress folks. So you better get your warrior gear upgraded with spirits, this will give you an edge.
You should also have at least a level 10 warrior to participate in PvP.
