A lot of people think that Gaming is Evil. Well, if you let it control you, it can be. Some even blame criminal or violent behavior on video games.
But I really think that parents should be closely monitoring what their kids play. I’m not saying that it’s the sole responsibility of parents, but they do play a huge part in child development - especially during puberty.
Here’s an interesting post by blogsip, a Parents Guide to Monitoring Video Games.

They just need to be educated better and taught to listen at an earlier age . Exposition to truth is always a good thing if followed by intelligent words.
Wed Dec 26 2007 12:35PMThat is not a guide to monitor a children, that should be the way it always have to be done, i mean, c'mon, u buy a game for your children just to get him out of your back? NO!, you play with him and spend time with him and the things he like.
Problem with kids/teens/some adults are that they are/were never well raised nor educated to know their role in the society.
That whole crap of parenting now that i've read to treat childrens as they were totally independent thinking beings is just messing the society big time.
