It seems that not even one of the most anticipated games is spared from bugs, billing and server problems.
Flagship Studios, developers of Hellgate: London have recently released an official statement apologizing for bugs and hiccups.
They itemized a lot of critical items which they are prioritizing...

no suprise, game was released early, and its overhyped
Thu Nov 15 2007 5:55AM Reportmeh ist common for games to have bugs but they released early at least they have a good excuse. dont know if it was OverHyped, it was a good game lotsa fun.
Thu Nov 15 2007 7:53AM ReportThe only people who OVER-HYPED the game was people like those here. They get a hint on a possibility and just run rampant, and it usually kills the game.
But to sit on the other side of the fence with some of them. The MMO industry is dry and dead. Nothing new.. nothing innovative.. and thats what people had high hopes for with Hellgate.
Ya, maybe Hellgate was a bit of a let down with the MP aspect, cause its not really a true MMO, but more like a Guild Wars. But, I'm currently enjoying it myself.
Thu Nov 15 2007 1:17PM ReportI don't think it's that bad at all.
Thu Nov 15 2007 3:13PM Reportway to post old ass news..gj.
Thu Nov 15 2007 4:50PM ReportI beta-tested this game and thought it was absolutely horrible.
I just don't see the attraction of jumping into an infinity of near identical instanced claustrophobic mazes and tunnels over and over and over and over again.
At least with guild wars, their instances are HUGE, open, and expansive. You can EXPLORE, not just follow a single path from start to end, like this joke of a game.
Also, due to the instances, I just didn't see the "MMO", at all. The only time I saw other players was in, yet more tunnels.
They should have called this game "Subway (x) Infinity", or as they say in the UK, "The Underground ad nauseam".
