The biggest online gaming event in the country just got BIGGER and BETTER! Gravity Inc., developers of the number 1 online game in the country, Ragnarok Online, and Level Up! Inc. are proud to announce that the RAGNAROK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008 will happen in Level Up! Live on Oct. 18 & 19 at the World Trade Center exhibit halls in Pasay City.
First launched in 2004 with a sequel in 2007, this is the first time that the prestigious international gaming tournament has gone outside its native country of South Korea.
The RWC 2008 will share the limelight with the grand finals of Rising Force Online, Perfect World, Flyff and Freestyle throughout the 2 days of Level Up! Live. In order to determine who will represent the country, the Ragnarok Philippine Championships that normally culminates at Level Up! Live will be done 2 weeks earlier. Whoever wins the top spot in the RPC will represent the motherland at the RWC.

With the Ragnarok World Championships happening at Level Up! Live 2008, expect to see more than just your fair share of gamers this side of the country, representatives from over 10 Ragnarok playing countries will be flying in to the Philippines to join in on the fun too!
