And what i mean by the title is that i was terribly bored of MMOs until i played WAR....i love it, its awesome and im thankful to be allowed to be a part of a fresh new experience.
NOTE: Also I want to mention that this post is strictly about WAR since we dont have much freedom of speech and the rules to blogging on this site are completely ass backwards to what having a blog really means. Ive fully expressed my feelings on this situation at my personal blog site...but wouldnt want to post it up...i might get a warning for advertising or something lol. Plus that post alone would probably P off a few ppl around here so lets just not get into that shall we.
anyway...to more important matters/
So Warhammer Online is launched and really making a name for itself. I really don't know why everyone still has to compare it to WoW since i pretty much dont even see anything WoW related in the game...even the graphics. They are NOT cartoony, the scale of alot of buildings is very awesome, and overall the questing is much more fun for me in WAR. I am very excited to reach the tier 4 of RvR because I really cant wait to seige the enemies city....its just going to be sweet.
Thats my opinion on how i feel of WAR...i know others dont like it, but i do and thats all that matters to me.

The graphics are cartoony... how are they not?
Compare them to a game that isn't cartoony... like AoC or Fallout3... then think again.
And what it brings isn't fresh... in fact it's more of the same... apart from PQs.... everything else has been done and done and done

Like posted before, nothing all that new beside the Public Quest.
MMOs are boring... sadly I have come to that conclusion after too many years wasted playing them. I'm waiting for something that really changes gameplay. As much as I love the Warhammer world, this just seems like too much of the same.
War has evolved the genre. it is not mammoth game of our dreams, but it is a rung on the ladder to that game. It's not a decrease in progression, that is for sure. WAR is fun and quite frankly it is the most fun I have had in an MMO since raiding in EQ back in 2001.
Hmm judging after its been out for less than a week, give it a while before giving your opinion good or bad... geees. How do you know its all that, or how do know all the bugs. you probly dont!!
Yes there are to many of these fricken games out (mmorpg's).thats why i dont change except between 2 of them about every 2 months or so (names of games not given )
How can u write something like this when you havn't played it through high-end content or at least played it for 1-2 months, this is redicolous.
What if writers was going to review a game based on their first week experience of the game that they are playing, it wouldn't work.
I bet when you all first started playing a MMO like WoW, SWG or VG you thought it was just as fun when it was new, but later on you get a more grip on how the game really is.

I haven't played WAR since they don't have free trials, but from what I've seen the combat is the same as pretty much all other MMOs.
eh give the man a break. he found an MMO that lets him have fun.
