The Angry Guild Leader

I'm the guild leader, and I'm pissed. Read what possibly goes on in your guild leader's mind. I shoot the truth, and I shoot it straight. If you can't handle it, then My Little Pony Online is taking beta applications.

Vanguard : Server on High

As a testament to the recent influx of refugees from AOC, as well as other places, the Seradon server actually hit high last night in Vanguard. To give those of you who might not play the game an example of what has happened, imagine if you will that a server on WOW was low population, and within a week it hit high, and from what you could see, for no reason. Subs are definitely up, and we see hundreds of new faces a day on my server alone.

Of course I will continue to vent about and cover other games, but Vanguard is on the rise, and if you don’t get onboard, you’re likely to be left behind.

This is the first time I have ever placed a link to a game in my blog:

Where is the screenshot??  I feel like you might need to seperate yourself from hype when it comes to games.  You don't seem to handle it very well based on your track record.

He's right guys!!

I'm on the Seradon server myself, and I was definately DEFINATELY seeing a LOT more people today.
It is because of the MEST event
Another possiblitiy is that people found out about the DevChat and thought of Vanguard saying
"oh yeah...i remember that game! I wonder how it's doing?"

Either way, I'm really liking Vanguard now that I'm back playing it again!!

Can you still see through building walls? Do you still fall through the ground into oblivion? Are there still vast areas totally unpopulated by both players and mobs? Is there more than one raid instance yet or have they implemented time sink quests (rare item collection) in the interm? Have they actually finished the game to a point that it can actually and fairly be released to the public or is it still in its "paid beta"  (where players pay to test the game for them) phase?

Finbar, you don't see through walls anymore. Least not as much as in AOC.

There is one raid zone, but it's not tank and spank like AOC and other games. Actually challenging. There is another being developed as we speak.

The game is playable and fun, unlike conan. Vanguard has classes that are different and have usage, unlike AOC where all the classes are the same and it's a console game.

In a nutshell, yes, Vanguard has come a long way or we wouldn't be seeing the huge spike in AOC refugees.

As for economy, no it's not near as bad as AOC where the market is flooded with green trash no one can sell and no one can make money and bags and horses cost 50g. Vanguard has a great economy and they are merging the three markets.
