The Angry Guild Leader

I'm the guild leader, and I'm pissed. Read what possibly goes on in your guild leader's mind. I shoot the truth, and I shoot it straight. If you can't handle it, then My Little Pony Online is taking beta applications.

From www.angryguildleader.com :

(This has nothing to do with MMORPG's, but I am sure most of us are fans)

I was up late tonight, and just found that George Carlin has passed away. I don’t know what to say. This is the first celebrity death that has affected me in a long time. The man was a genious and an inspiration. I had the luck to meet him once, and out of the hundreds of “celebrities” I’ve met, he was in the top 3 of the nicest. He will be missed dearly.

I owe him a lot. In some ways, he is responsible for a lot of who I am and the way I look at things. Without him, I would not be who I am today.

For me, this is the kind of death that changes your life. I guess the only way to put it is that because of my age and generation, my John Lennon/Hendrix/Morrison/etc just died.

I know how you feel buddy. I cried like a little bitch when Layne Staley from Alice in Chains died; and I didn't even know him. As a musician, he really struck a chord with me, I think that's why it was such an emotional ordeal.

Times come and go however, and life will go on; as it always does.

It's sad that George Carlin has died. :( Only 71 at the time of his death, and he was as active as a 21 year old. He will be missed.

What did George Carlin do? He made us question the motives behind the actions we take on an every day basis. he made us THINK, he was a great man and he will be missed.

I know how you feel man. He was a great man. Simple yet complex. He boiled everything down to basic principles that were not only extremely funny, but made alot of sense.

He was one of the only people on this planet that I cared to meet, and now I wont get the chance. Im really bummed about it.

What did he do? He made me laugh a lot.

You could actually understand a lot of his acts. Nowadays comedians can't get out of the four letter word in every sentence monolouges.

yeah he will be missed. he made us think, and question everything even if we were afraid to. He is truly a legend. I loved his intelligent take no shit from the establishment approach to politics, religion, science, advertising, marketing,  everything you could think of, he raised questions about it, and made us think about how closed off we really are  and how we have lost a little bit ourselves in the process. George you wil be missed you. God broke the mold when he made you.
