The purpose of this blog is to express my thoughts on various games,gaming communities and pretty much anything gaming related that I dabble in. I am a casual over-18 gamer whom does have experience beta testing a few games. Views posted here are my own

You'll get that anywhere.  Its virtually impossible to present any form of coherent thought in a public setting and manage to do so in a way that every last person agrees with you.  Beyond that, its even less likely you can avoid people who, simply put, just want to make waves anyway.

When writing, or any other form of expression that involves the public, you have to realize that this is natural...and that how you respond to it very much defines both your ability to perform in the given expression AND you own personal level of professionalism and tact. 

By throwing your hands up and quitting, you validate the hate...so to speak (and rhyme!).  It signifies that you did not have much faith in your position, and that you did not feel strongly enough about the topic matter to continue pursuing it. 

Remember that resistance is to be expectedm, no matter what.  If you allow one or two bad seeds to completely destroy whatever message you had for the much larger "open" majority...then it stands to reason that your message was either not very important...or not worth working for to provide.

Now, dust yourself off...and do whatever it is that makes you happy.

Gishgeron is correct. Don't sweat the petty things. And the flamer is most, most petty indeed.

As it goes, giving up means they win. 

Although, it's the internet.  Why bother right?

 ...Your displaying way too much anxiety over one flamer.   It's hard to be a professional of any sort if you give up over several comments... But then again, a blog isn't really worth much anyway.

I've read the rest of your blog entries. Did you delete these 'flames' that simple copy pasta from wiki or not even formatting your links aren't good things to read, or was it something else?

You do get a humour point for mis-spelling plagarism when you said you knew what it was though.

You've only let him win by doing this. Unless, ofcourse, you are just trying to lose him by faking your own death and starting a new account. It's a better idea to stay and blog more than ever. Be defiant and piss him off! There's ALWAYS atleast one flamer who'll dog you

Just ignore the flamer. People will realize that the person is just a flamer and will ignore 'em

If you enjoy MMOs enough to contribute your opinions about them, then there is no reason to let anyone discourage that.

Don't let idiots get to you.   I have had my articles I write here mirroed and published all over the place.  There are always people who will freak out on you for some reason or another.   If it's the same guy over and over again, just delete his comments.  I have never deleted a comment in all my posts here unless it was a reader posting under the wrong article, but the button is there, so don't be afraid to use it when someone provides no meaningful contribution to the discussion.

Hey, just write.  That's what I do.  I know people will pick apart my blogs or disagree, and it has happened in the past, just don't sweat it.   Write your blog.
