Massively.com has put together a good overview of DCUO's E3 output. The only article that excites me is this one, which talks about in-game events, combat and other in-game systems.

I've got an article I want to write about DCUO, but I'm going to wait until after ComicCon - they will have live demos and a MySpace invite party there, so I want to see what new information comes out before I start casting some judgements around.

meh its being done by sony...wait a year after it comes out and some of the bugs will be fixed...

if i even decide to touch another soe product it will be after a year it is out cause their track record shows that they arent good for games starting out...later some of the games aint bad (excluding swg...it went worse) when given time for them to fix them...

Never touch a SOE product. They have many times lied and screwed their players if any possible profit is to be made of it. They have already totally FAILED 2 major IP's (Matrix, Star Wars) They will fail DC also.

Who cares if the artist from the comics is drawing the characters. He is NOT A PROGRAMMER. Just look at Conan for what happens when a great art team meets a crap technical team.

DC looks like crap from the videos I witnessed. CHAMPIONS Online will totally destroy this garbage.

Definately. SOE hasnt created a single Superhero mmo, and though they have a brand-name under their belt, it isnt going to do much. It may help with drawing in all the nerds and fanboys who want to play alongside superman and the joker, but I bet its outcome will be similar to Funcom and AoC.

Champions Online, on the otherhand, is being handled by Cryptic, who have proven not only to be competent developers, but have made a great Superhero MMO, so it shouldnt be hard to expect that CO will be great.
