Last week I was here talking a bit about the first XP skill for the new class Pirates, and this time I’m going to bring another XP skill for the Pirates into sight.

Cannon Barrage, from which you can tell that it’s going to be a quite powerful skill for the Pirates. And the picture below, a Pirate holding a gun in his hand, could depict the figures of the Pirates to the best.

After seeing different images of the Pirates, do you guys want to know more about this XP skill? If so, follow-up is the description of this XP skill.

Description of Pirate XP Skill: Cannon Barrage V1.01
Required weapon: N/A
Level: N/A
Lasting time: This XP skill is active in certain time periods.

Description:
When using the skill, the pirate can click on ground to mark some target areas. And there will early warning before the spell is being casted. Then the cannon will start to fire against those areas to cause damage.
When a round of attack is over, the spell caster can specify another point and attack again until the XP time expires. There are early warnings before each round of attack.

With many CO gamers wondering what kind of power this new notorious class would possess, the pirate himself is more like a character possessed by the Blackheart, at no mercy when slaying opponents. He’s more like a friend of Hades, dark, bleak and evil.

As the world of Conquer rolls into the darker side, more challenges will continually arise in front of your eyes. But let’s not get to the chase that quick, focusing on this new figure itself. Since last week, our team is granted access to part of the finished arts for Pirates, and jubilantly we also got a copy of the probable image of Pirates. Let’s take a look.

Despite the blue outlines and such, the arts are so gorgeous if you’re not going to look at another perspective of the gameplay here.

All the skills for this new boogeyman are still being discussed and developed, apart from the XP skill we leaked out here a couple of days ago, there’ll be more info on what skills they’ll be endowed with.

As the expansion continues to roll out for the entire world of Conquer, a next new class will drop into the world and make the world darker than before. A song that goes like “Yo ho yo ho a pirate’s life for me, we pillage we plunder we rifle and loot, drink up me hearties yo ho, we kidnap and ravage and don’t give a hoot, drink up me hearties yo ho, yo ho yo ho a pirate’s life for me.” should be known by many of you guys here. Yep, your guesses are right on cue, the next class will be the notorious Pirates.

The image of this boogeyman is still in development and this one is the conceptual drawing by one of the artists here. It looks appealing doesn’t it?

And today I’m here to talk a little bit about the skills this class/race would possibly possess, the first skill we’re going to mention here is the Blackbeard’s Rage.

Pirate XP Skill: Blackbeard’s Rage V1.00

To perform a skill, you have to have something equipped, there’s no exception to this XP skill for Pirates, and a musket must be equipped. Every time a player uses the skill to kill a target, their XP bar increases, much like the Warrior’s “Superman”. The configuration of the skill effect is like Water Taoist’s Chain Bolt, for both the number of bullets and damage. The damage caused to monsters is 3x that to players. When the skill is cast, the musket will fire.

Background Knowledge of Blackbeard

Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, was a notorious English pirate who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of the American colonies. And he became a renowned pirate from 1717 to 1718.

And his cognomen, Blackbeard, was derived from his thick black beard and fearsome appearance; he was reported to have tied lit fuses under his hat to frighten his enemies.    – from Wikipedia.org.
