Treasure in the Blue – Bloody Loot: Let the Inner Devil Take Over

The TQ team is proud to announce that a brand new land has been discovered and is waiting to be explored! This is sure to be an unprecedented and incredible chance for brave adventurers to make their mark!

As more and more secret rumors begin to spread around Twin City, a vicious underworld has surfaced, bringing with it the presence of the Giant Octopi, evil messengers from the Proud Sea. Nefarious ghosts were long trapped there, feeding on their hatred of the living. To seek vengeance upon those that still breathe, they try to lure the innocent into their dark nest and turn them into evil sprits. Warnings have been given, yet who can resist the temptation of treasure and great power?

The devil has an invitation for you! Are you ready to take on a bloody treasure hunt?

But what possible treasures are waiting to be found? Ancient Coins lie scattered in the deepest seas, bringing a great fortune to those who can return them to the world above. Some say they are guarded by fiendish monsters, while others say that they remain in the same boxes they were kept in before they tumbled to the ocean floor.

A treasure hunt is always full of risks, and in this lawless hell, all the rules will be as distant as light in the depths of the abyss! You will have the green light to unleash your cruel inner beast and take down as many other players as you like! No one will gain any PK points for kills, nor lose any experience if they die! New lands are all about loot and slaughter, and this is no exception! But, you should be aware that your belongings are just as at risk as your opponent’s. What would you do if keeping your hard-won equipment depended all on your own skill? To see all eyes leering at your fine items and silver in your bag! Just like gambling, one good hit might cause you to lose everything you have, or gain you the world, no matter if you are strong or not! Blades should be sharpened and guns need to be loaded at all times, lest you be caught unaware in the many intense battles.

The gate to the hell is wide open. Dare you step inside?

There will be more about the tempting prizes coming up soon! Stay tuned!

New Weapon Soon Out, Ninjas Back Again!

There comes great news for all the Ninja lovers, another new weapon will be added to the Ninja’s arsenal in the world of Conquer!

Many gamers have complained about the lack of diversity of the weaponry for the Ninjas, which can only carry two katana at a time, and now the good news travels around and the ninja lovers will be quite excited about the new stuff!

The name for the weapon isn’t official yet, we call it Kusarigama, originated from Japanese, for now because it looks exactly the same as that in the history.

The chain and sickle (kusarigama) was also used by the ninja. This weapon consisted of a weight on one end of a chain, and a sickle (kama) on the other. The weight was swung to injure or disable an opponent, and the sickle used to kill at close range. Simple gardening tools such as kunai and sickles were used as weaponry so that, if discovered, a ninja could claim they are his tools and not weapons, despite their ability to be used in battle.

And let’s take a sneak peek at the original imaging of the new weapon for the Ninjas!

Not just the look like this, it varies a lot from the preliminary stage to the highest, and higher the level gets more gorgeous! Along with the release of the new weapon, sure there will be another skill/magic intended for the Ninjas coming out, and yet it will remain to be a secret for a little while.

Will the Ninjas rise up again with the power this new weapon bestowed upon them? Or the existing classes can withstand the intrusion from the Ninjas again? Let’s wait and see how Ninjas will perform! Stay tuned for more updates here!

Several Things About Server Transfer

Howdy every CO lover out there on MMORPG.com!

Yesterday there came a piece of great news for the CO community, with the news feed about the Server Transfer posted on the official website, many players would be thrilled about its brief introduction.

Immersed in the exhilaration, many players started to ask questions about the rules, which aren’t that clear about something they wanna know. Then here comes the breakdown.

1.       Servers which have only been open for less than a year will be unavailable to transfer IN, however characters may be transferred from.

Only four servers have been open for less than a year, and they are GardenofEden, Evolution, JollyRoger, and Tortuga_EU.

2.       After the transfer is complete, your character’s sub-class, items, skills, weapon proficiency, and quest data will be transferred to the server you wish to move to. Your character’s Enemy list, Flower Ranking, Nobility Rank, and Arena Honor Ranking will be reset.

Okay, the misunderstanding comes from the very last word in “reset”, and of course the players are worrying much more about their nobility rank along with the others. And here’s the deal, the resetting doesn’t mean all the data will be wiped out, it just requires you to pay 3,000,000, aka 3kk, to have it reset to the previous status again on the server you transferred to.

And that’s the most asked questions and we hope this breakdown can help unknot the puzzles.

With the shaking up of the schedule for all the tournaments approaching, many Conquerors might start wondering what will be next for community. Well, here’s the answer! It’s a brand-new Faction Contest!

Here’s a brief explanation to the Faction Contest:
Two factions, "A" and "B", will compete. Unlike previous fights to gain possession of the pole in Guild War, the Faction Contest is a bit different.

1.         All the maps will become event maps for this contest, after the Faction Contest begins.
2.         Different from the PK-oriented tournaments, the players can have fun with the competitors and fight for the faction you joined at the beginning of the contest.
3.         All players who meet the minimum requirements for the contest can choose to join the faction they want.
4.         Each player will have one or several "Symbols" on his character. Once killed, the "Symbol" will be given to the player who killed you.
5.         By the end of the contest, the Faction with the most Symbols in total, wins!
6.         By the end of the contest, the individual players with the most total number of Symbols from both factions will win special rewards.

NOTE: All maps are open for PKing during the contest, and no items will drop when killed.

Are you thrilled about the new contest? Of course you are! There will be more details to come in the coming days.

Conquer Online’s expanding in early 2012 and this time, NetDragon will be bringing an explosive adventure pack - Invasion of Pirates - into the game. This new expansion for Conquer Online will let players explore a new vast coastal line and tread in Conquer’s forbidden domain - the Flaming Sea - as they embark on an epic journey full of hidden treasures, ancient evils, dangerous traps and other mysterious challenges to get through.

The Pirates are setting their footsteps onto this ancient realm – No one says that they are the trustworthy types. Pirates are pirates. Looting and pillaging is their nature. As invaders, the Pirates don’t look friendly. The image they conjure is typically the pillager and robber, stealer of gold and treasures wherever they pass by, yet much richer. Unlike some treasure-hunting crews that have been described in movies and novels, Conquer’s Pirates are more like the fallen nobles - an one-eyed pirate captain in Conquer dressed in a tricorne hat with a feather attached to it, a long luxurious rich crimson damask coat, silver chain around the neck with a skull sculpture hanging on to it, one armed sharp hook, weapons belt and bucket topped boots… The female Pirates look even more evil and sexy.

But not all the pirates deserve to be dressed like a Pirate King or Queen. Most of the crew wear no fancy clothes and have few decorations in their outfits but they also look stylish and practical. The weapons are their best decorations. As their levels get higher, their outfit will also be improved as well as their weapons.

Like pirates of all time, the Pistols and Rapiers are the straws they hold on to in order to climb up the power ladder. While in Conquer, they’ve got another powerful weapon – the cannon bomb. With the advanced, explosive equipment in possession, modern warfare power has finally made its way into this ancient kingdom, ready to reshape the landscape and take control of the world. When ancient martial skills meet modern gunpowder, who will survive?

Much like the garments, there is a wide range of Pistol and Rapiers for options, with stories hidden in a variety of carvings and designs – dark as a nasty lizard, bright and swift as a striking thunder, bloodily horrifying as a butcher’s hook and much more…As the character’s levels keeps increasing, more and more powerful weapons will be unveiled, waiting for their rightful owner to claim.

The evil has risen from the high sea, rolling their ships near, and will beat the tide and come ashore! Brace yourself for the coming Invasion of Pirates!

There will be more about the Pirates coming up soon! Stay tuned!

As always, feel free to ask questions in the comments, we will try our best to answer them all!
